This place is a gem. I thought my first visit might have just been an amazing fluke. I returned today with my 80yr old mother who has never had Thai. She was so impressed. This simple, quaint atmosphere is perfect for conversation. The service is outstanding. And the food is delicious.

What a wonderful find! Comfortable, clean place with kind people. Family owned. Food was delicious. I ordered my usual Green Curry, that I’ve ordered in so many Thai restaurants around the world. Pookies’ version came on a plate, but was so flavorful and delicious, I ate every bite. Loved the basil and delicious eggplant.

Outstanding. Friendly server who answered many questions. The fried rice ball appetizers were flavorful and delicious. The food was very quick and very well done. Shown is green curry, pepper chicken and beef pho.

New to Burlington, I swiftly needed to find the local Thai restaurant, as it is one of my favored cuisine. Since trying it once, my wife and I have made this our “once a week” outing, as the food is simply brilliant.

I started eating pookies pho back when they were at diggers rest, with growing popularity the quality of the food has gone down and so has the serving size. would like to see a little bit better atmosphere.

My husband and I visited for the first time today. We got the chicken pho, and we had decided to split it, and I asked how big the bowls were because we were going to share, and she brought an extra bowl with the order without me asking, and I appreciated that. They were super nice, and the food was amazing. The visit was worth every penny, and we’ll definitely be back.

Pookie is the most loving chef, and she is a great member of our community. When she cooks for you it’s like your own mother is serving you up some high quality Thai cuisine. You can’t miss this place and say สวัสดีเพื่อนของฉัน (hello my friend) to Pookie for me.

Had the Thai basil chicken. I’m not an expert on Thai food but it was really good. The crispy egg with soft yolk was so good…my only regret is that I live in Michigan and can’t get here more often.

This is the best Thai in the region for me, hands-down. The egg rolls are a must, and the pho has layers of flavor, but everything is delicious. You’ll know you’re in the right place from a block away, when you smell the lemongrass and frying onions. Pookie’s is cute and cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere, the staff are friendly and the service is great. I can’t stop in without getting an iced tea – they honestly have some of the best in the area.
