Oh my Pookies….. All I have to say is keep it up! Color me impressed, the barista (David) and the baristas (I dont know their names, sorry ) they are extremely kind, knowledgable, and always respectful.
This place has earned my respect, and I will CONTINUE to go to pookies at LEAST once a week! Their prices are freaking amazing and the quality of the espresso….. If I could give you more stars, I would in a heartbeat!!! 5 stars isnt enough for this FANTASTIC place!

This is not the first time we’ve come to this coffee shop. We really love the place, the coffee, and the pastries. Unfortunately, our experience today was disappointing because of the service.
When we walked in, the girl working there said hello, but that was it. She stayed in the back the whole time. At first I thought she might be busy, but she never came to the front to help us. I eventually had to ask if we could order, and she just responded with “What do you want?”
I ordered two savory pastries and was planning to dine in, but she immediately put them in a bag to go. I had to ask her to warm them up and put them on a plate since we were eating there. She seemed annoyed, like she was upset about it.
The same thing happened when I ordered coffee. I asked about the iced sizes and flavors, which she only reply the list is there and she acted like she was doing us a favor just by answering. While we were there, more people came in and she stayed in her corner with earphones on.
It honestly ruined the experience. I don’t want to go to a place where I feel like I’m bothering the staff just for ordering. It’s unfortunate because the coffee and pastries are great, but good customer service is just as important.

I got the cinnamon roll and gelato and it was phenomenal. The staff were kind and helpful and the atmosphere was adorable and cozy. The entire establishment was spotless and there was indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a quaint date, after-brunch coffee and cake with friends, or even going by yourself for a peaceful self-care treat. I will definitely be going back. Truly a gem on Water Street!

Delighted Pookie’s had opened. Party of 4x on a Friday afternoon. Bright, cheery decor that makes one feel welcome. Several people in front of us, but the wait was not long for the 2x servers to get to us. Service was excellent.
We had a variety of pastries, drinks, cones…all were very nice. Prices are quite reasonsable compared to other similar establishments we’ve been to across the country. We were told they are working on trying to do some in-house creations, so we are looking forward to that too.
