I had My grandson ‘s First Communion there. It was a great choice for me. We had a party of 24 guest. Children friendly. The food was great. We had the brunch, a little bit of everything. My waiter was great, she went above and beyond her service, Shout out to Lynn. I also want to give Veronica a shout out and would like to thank her for making this special day happen without a glitch. Veronica is exceptional, she arranged for everything I asked for. Thank you to Lynn and Veronica. Ponza Italian Kitchen & Pizza is my to go place, not only for parties but for lunch, dinner or brunch. Best place in Norwalk, Ct. Shout out to the whole staff, family oriented.

I had chicken parmigiana with pasta cooked perfectly! Wine was good as well. The best part, heated outdoor dining with free live jazz! It was so enjoyable! Hard to find that in Connecticut! Wonderful waitress too!

I came here for a friends birthday dinner. For a large crowd, they had plenty of seating available. The food was delicious and the service was great! Not one plate had food left on it at the end of the night. And we enjoyed the Jell-O shots which were fun and not too strong. Our server knew the menu very well and gave great recommendations, and took our orders for a large group very quickly. I’d say the only downside was how we were placed directly behind the band, which was very loud and our food took a while to come out, but we figured the group size contributed to that and the fact that all of our food was brought out at the same time, which we all appreciated. I’m looking forward to returning to this place again – where the simplest dishes (like chicken tenders, salads and soups) were just as delicious as a fancy pasta dish.

My family and I are from out of state. Walking in the owner was so friendly and family. Love the family owned restaurants. The restaurant was beautiful, and friendly. The food is phenomenal!! Authentic Italian food absolutely delicious. Must go to restaurant. This is our new place and each time heading to Connecticut this our spot for a home cooked meal. Thank you Gianna and family for a delicious meal and a home feeling atmosphere. See you all soon!!

An absolute disgrace! Visited the restaurant today, 3/19 with a few family members. The hostess / waitress’ rude attitude amazed everyone. Initially, she seemed annoyed that we had not made a reservation. After that, she gave us a reservation, but only to give it away to someone else. Huh? I’m not sure how that works, but okay. The middle aged hostess, who appeared to still be drunk from St. Patrick’s Day, couldn’t even count or hold onto the menus that she kept dropping on the floor. It was filthy on the floor, but she denied it was dirty when asked. How I wish I had a picture to show. The annoyance she displayed over seating us was so obvious that we left. What a shame for her, because she could have used the tip money for another tanning session. Do yourself a favor, lady. Tan less, smile more, and get a better personality / attitude.

Made a reservation 5 days in advance and when we arrived said they did not have any reservation for us, but assured us that it was not problem. While we waited for our table, they gave it table to another party. They were very rude when we asked about the table given they gave to another party. Then they sat us in a section that had not been cleaned and when we asked if we could sit some place else that was clean, they were hostile so we decide to leave. I wish there was a zero rating because that is what they truly deserve!

Wow, I don’t know where to start! The food is horrible. A Caesar salad with chicken, $17.99. It consist of Romain, lettuce, cheese, croutons, and Purdue breaded chicken strips. SMH the waitress with the blonde hair was very nice. However,, I have no understanding too. Why an Italian restaurant have all Hispanic making Italian dishes??? The dealbreaker for me is the girl that’s at the coffee bar to the left when you walk in with the big nose. While in the restroom, she came out the stall and walked right to the coffee bar never washing your hands. Total dealbreaker.! Mind you, that was my third visit there. First time I order it sausage on the side, they gave me meatballs.. it was a takeout. They wanted me to drive all the way back there to correct it. No! you bring it. Same thing the second time incorrect order. SMH I think the norwalk public health department should come there and give them a course on handwashing. I don’t know who the owner is, but shame on you.

In all my hospitality career- I have never seen this many customer unfriendly Rules & Regulations on a Menu before. First- the Specials menu was stained. Then they pair pasta items with particular sauces- none of which I preferred, and have a Rule that you have to pay $4.00 if you want a menu substitution or recipe change: so Penalty is assesed if I prefer traditional red/ marinara/tomatoe sauce with Angel Hair pasta- $4.00 penalty; If I want red sauce with Gnocchi instead of their listed ” gargonzola” it’s a $4.00 penalty! Then if I want angel hair with meatballs-Nope- you can’t do that because the menu offers “Spaghetti” and meatballs…have to pay the penalty $4.00 to switch the pasta! Gnocchi comes with Gargonzola. Rigatoni comes with Vodka sauce. It’s almost like they pair unusual sauces just to force customers to have to pay the $4.00 penalty.
