The only reason I gave this three stars is because of the service.. not even sure if I should have done that. I paid $17.99 for a skillet. All because the name of the wrong Skillet. Basically I wanted the ingredients that were in a western omelette but I wanted the gravy on top. There is an omelette that comes with gravy on top for pretty much the same price. Not to mention that the bottom of this omelette was full of grease. Needless to say, I took two bites and threw it away. Never again

Heard there was a new owner. Been going to the Super Chief for 40 years, my family even longer until the original owner sold it to that woman who said she wouldn’t change anything, until she did. We stopped going shortly after that. Heard there was another new owner and he was trying to change it back so we decided to give it another try. Even though the building has changed the food seamed to be going back to the original way. Simon the new owner came out and talked to us, reassured us things were going back. He listened to our suggestions and thanked us for coming in. Onion rings, hot dogs with the shaved toasted bun and chili fries were good. Food took a bit longer to come out but it was hot and fresh, we didn’t mind but would think twice if time is an issue at lunch. Restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. We will be going back. Keep up the good work Simon, thanks for saving the Super Chief!

this coney is the best around! you could tell that everything was freshly made, the people there were welcoming + friendly + kind. we came on Valentine’s Day for lunch and they gave out flowers. so sweet, definitely make the trip here. this isn’t your average coney.

Stopped in and everything was exactly what you want from a place like this. Food came out fast, prices were good, and everything tasted great. The coney dogs and footlongs hit the spot, and the onion rings were really good. Easy, no-frills spot that does it right.

I’ve grown up 5 minutes from this place and driven past it thousands of times the past 30 years without ever stopping. I finally tied it over the weekend and it was lights out the best coney I’ve ever had; it beats all the chains and the Detroit ones as well. I literally finished an entire dog before my wife finished her first bite. I’m guessing it’s the great bun and the well proportioned ingredients, well done. Also, solid tots and onion rings for respectable prices.

Lunch was absolutely amazing from the food to the staff, and the owner “Simon,” made it 100 times better! The owner greeted us from the time we arrived and checked on us while we enjoyed eating our lunch. We absolutely love ❤️ this place they have the BEST CONEY ISLANDS IN THE WORLD WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!!!

My absolute go to coney!! Simon the new owner is fantastic and the food always hits the spot!! The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and the absolute best coney in the area. My fiancée loves the loose coneys from here and I have to say they are the best I’ve ever had.
