Traditional diner primarily made up of booths with counter seating. I had the chicken fried steak and it was pretty good. My son has the steak sandwich which was more steak then sandwich. Only complaint was the fries were just curly fries that my son described as tasting like warmed up Arby’s fries.

Out of all of the places we have ever eaten, this one ranks as one of the worst. From the grumpy waitress to the building itself to the down right horrible food. I would never recommend this restaurant to another person . We’d rather eat greasy diner food than go here again. The best part of our meal was the fries. I had a burger on Texas toast. The bread was somewhat soggy and the onion rings gross. The burger itself was dry. My green salad looked so bad I didn’t even try it. We won’t be going back. There are other great places to choose from in Orofino.

Was recommended to try the pie here, chocolate cream was good and the cherry pie was very good. The place is retro inside, a total time capsule. Prices are incredibly reasonable also!

We stopped by the Orofino Lumberjack Days & Clearwater County Fair the day before (Saturday) and decided to stop by on our way back Sunday.
We wanted a local breakfast place, and this fit the bill.
We had the ham & cheese omelet (hashbrowns/sourdough bread) and veggie omelet (hashbrowns/whole wheat toast). Hot, tasty, and the portions were large.
This is exactly what we were looking for. The prices were fair, and the employees were great.
