Walking into this location, one of only 21 left in the country is like stepping back into time. Everything was almost exactly as I remembered it from my childhood. Your classic American white people buffet fare. Not quite bland, but certainly not quite authentic Italian or Mexican food lol Good for a one and done trip down memory lane here. The part of our visit was the service. The service was outstanding for a cafeteria style setting. The greeter was super friendly and very attentive. We actually had a waitress visit our table often (suprising for the cafeteria style setting). The atmosphere was to be expected. This hasn’t changed since I remember. The food was ok, and I would have liked it to be better. It seemed like nothing was made in-house (we got just the Buffett). For the amount of food you could eat, the price was very fair. This place just seems like its goal is quantity, not quality (you won’t go away hungry). I guess it just depends on what you like.

Very good food. I just wish they would open more of them back up in Michigan. Like in Lansing, Michigan and in Gaylord, Michigan. They were always busy when them 2 locations were open many years ago. I think they would be busy again if they would ever open them up again in them 2 locations.

If you are ok with trays and buffets and old-school dining experiences then this is the place to go. We loved it from the second we walked in and put our tray on the rail, silverware and beverage too. Used our senior discount, ordered our steaks and descended on the salad bar and dinner buffet complete with all the appropriate toppings. Even had a Taco station, spaghetti station, fish and clam strips. We each made a gorgeous salad including cottage cheese and pears. Our $19 (what a bargain) porterhouse steak arrived hot, perfectly cooked and delicious. Our server Shannon was kind, professional and attentive without being overly friendly and familiar. Our dining experience was awesome and we will definitely make this a regular stop. Our entire bill was only $52 which included a $10 tip. Please be kind and generous to the servers. We need them and they need us.
Did i mention how spotlessly clean the entire place was? And how kind and thorough the cashier was? She made it easier for us to understand the system. WE LOVED EVERY SECOND OF OUR VISIT.
