My friend and I visited on Saturday afternoon, 2/21. I hadn’t been to a Ponderosa in 25 years, so this was a fun experience. The chicken wings weren’t quite as awesome as they were in the ’90s, but that was a high bar to reach. All the food was very good. The dessert bar was ample, and the buffet alone was easily enough for a big meal. The service was excellent, and the place was clean. It’s definitely worth a visit for those throwback vibes.

We were in the area and stopped for lunch. Having been at least 25 years since we’ve been to a Ponderosa, we wondered what it’d be like. Service was friendly, restaurant wasn’t filthy but not super clean. Salad was pretty fresh, the rest of the food was really bad. Shocked at the prices… steak was between $20 & $28, maybe more. If you wanted to add the buffet, that was another $8. Def not worth it. We just had the buffet.

I haven’t been to a Ponderosa in many years. We no longer have them in Cincinnati. Visiting Columbus, we stopped for dinner and it was as good as I remembered. The service was fantastic.

Ordered a strip steak and the buffet. The steak was delicious . The buffet was decent. Some stuff was old and didnt have all the selection I was hoping for. Stan was our Server. He was great and definitely enhanced our experience. The rest of the staff was awesome also. Will be back.

I haven’t been to Ponderosa since the early 2000s and the food was still just as good as I remember. Courtney was so kind and helpful!! Even though they didn’t have any vegetarian entrees I still enjoyed myself! I’m really hoping they add one or two vegetarian entrees in the future 🙂

Came here for the nostalgia. We used to have one of these where I grew up. I heard there were still some open so we made the 2 1/2 trip. Service was excellent. Food was decent. Overall happy with the experience. Would I make the drive again?.. probably not. But I’m glad I did.
