Everyone was really nice today. It is great to get back inside for a nice relaxing meal. The buffet was hot and fresh. They served the salad which was also tidy and fresh. Our steaks were cooked right, and just fine. The desert was also served. We got cheesecake and it was very fresh, and good. It was a very enjoyable meal.

I HATE leaving bad reviews. This review, however, was deserved. We went in for lunch buffet as we have many times before. Everything on the buffet seemed old or leftover, but we wanted lunch and it’s usually decent food so we gave it a shot. I had 1 plate and the chicken was tough and the rolls and butter were gross. I’m not sure if the butter was soured or the rolls just were junk that day,but it was not good. My toddler got a variety of things, spaghetti, mac n cheese, roll, green beans. Of course only ate a small portion of it, but the spaghetti noodles seemed overcooked was the sauce was super watery. My husband got meatloaf and took 1 bite and said it seemed old and didn’t eat anymore. Service wasn’t much better. For a restaurant that wasn’t at all busy, we never seen our waitress except for when 1st came in and ordered buffet and paid and when she brought us our drinks. I know buffet is pretty simple and you don’t need alot of your server’s attention but there was no coming back to check on us, no clearing away our dirty dishes, no asking if we wanted refills, just a lack of attention all around. I just felt for 30$ plus tip everything from the food to the service could have been just a little better. Might give another chance in the future because we actually have always liked this place.

Our server was especially attentive, and the buffet was well stocked. There was an issue with undercooked chicken, but that was handled promptly. Selections at the dessert bar were sparse, however, the dining room was clean, quiet, and well lit.

Not good food. Also, steak is not on the buffet. You have to pay extra. And even then you only get one tiny improperly cooked little guy. Everything on the buffet was either super over cooked or had just been there way too long. The only thing worth mentioning were the dinner rolls and the banana bread. Those were good. The place was clean and staff nice. I wanted to like this place…….I’ll never be back.

I’ve been there in the past several times and the food was pretty good. We went there yesterday just after lunch time, mabye 1:00-1:30 and the food was absolutely lousy. The chicken breading was so hard that you couldn’t eat it. The container of lettuce was nothing but the white pieces, no green at all. Other items were also not very good. My wife said she didn’t think the macaroni salad was any good as it didn’t taste right. I should’ve said something, but I didn’t. This was on a Monday, maybe it was Sunday’s leftovers. That will be our last visit to this Ponderosa. I gave it 2 stars only because the waitress was nice and refilled drinks promptly.

Not a very kid friendly place. Not much seafood for seafood night. The service was wonderful but for 2 adults a teen and 5 yr old easy $50+ you just expect more, more variety, kind of on the smaller side, and with that being said don’t look for desserts.

Buffet selection is good we like goingon the weekends for the seafood. Waiting staff is always amazing. But anytime I ask the staff running the food for the buffet a question they arm to be a little rude and this has happened on 3 separate occasions other then that food is always hot

Not what I was expecting buffet was not the best and missing one of the glass protector ,GROSS. Will not be back and will not recommend anyone here. Food definitely not worth the price!! I’ve never thrown so much food away. Then to top it off the steak and potatoe that you get with buffet after eating buffet you are not allowed to take them with you, REALLY. The ONLY pleasant thing there was our waitress. I’ve never wrote a review on restaurant before so it had to have been bad

Great waitresses and food servers. We gather and eat with wonderful friends that we’ve made there and never feel rushed. Can’t say that with most restaurants. If I have any negative remark, it would be bathrooms need more attention paid with paper products being filled promptly.

Well, the good news…..the building is new and seemed clean. The employees were friendly, but one forgot my husband’s dinner roll. I had to ask her for it. The bad news, the buffet is not worth the price. In today’s world of buffets it is a tiny variety of typical things. There is nothing special about it at all. I’ve had it twice now and the sizzler had more choice than they do. The dessert area is really small and nothing tasted that great. My husband had a 1lb steak and it was under cooked and full of gristle. My drink was empty and I never got a refill. If you like small buffets full of bland & average food that is over priced you’ll love it. I’d honestly rather stick to Dennys. Very disappointed. It also lacks any decor tying it to bonanza.
