The atmosphere and the views are beautiful here. That has to be the best part about the restaurant. The staff at the door were extremely friendly and seemed to enjoy being at work. Service was a little dry, stale, and almost nonexistent. Personality needed some working on. The Ceasars Salad was good, minus the brown pieces. The Red Snapper was delicious, and whatever that sauce was super tasty. On the Chicken Alfredo, the chicken was dry. The rest of the pasta dish and broccoli were good by itself. I was disappointed with the asparagus. For 5.50, you get four pieces that are bland and were overcooked on two of them. I would not order those ever again. I would revisit to try other things, just not asparagus or chicken.

I had an awesome time here. My boyfriend and I went for brunch today and had a great time. You do need to make reservations or be prepared for atleast a 30-45 minute wait but after we waited it was worth it. The food is awesome and they have a great selection of items. It’s very clean for a buffet. They have grits, eggs, bacon, ham, shrimp and other breakfast items like crepes fruit and donuts and muffins. We also tried their mimosas and margaritas and they were great. It can get a little pricey though we spent almost 90 between us two but we did buy cocktails and mimosa. Great place just make a reservation.

Joe the owner and his amazing staff took fantastic care of us. We reserved part of their patio overlooking the lake on a Friday afternoon to celebrate an important event with friends and family coming in from around the country. Atmo was great, service prompt, and when we suffered a small delay with setup, Joe went the extra mile to take care of my wife and me. Can’t recommend enough!

Oh yes, YES! Definitely worth a visit for many reasons!!! Awesome good, kudos to the chef, the food was fantastic. Nothing like a “look sells type” with positive ambience, beautiful views (indoors and outdoors), food on the menu that tastes great, and worth the dime every time! Highly Recommend

I visited The Pond just this past Saturday around 2pm. The restaurant was relatively empty and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is calm and the restaurant is beautiful. There really is a pond you can see from the patio. The service was super fast and the food was good. I had the fried pork chop, which could have used a little more seasoning but otherwise everything was delicious. I strongly recommend the mojitos! Would visit again.

First time I bring my husband for Father’s Day/Anniversary dinner. Old Fashions- $17 ea were watered down, not smoked as it says in the menu and the cheap cherries. Not worth the $17. Couldn’t even taste my Woodford Reserve. Ribeye steak ordered med rare…came out rare and cold, A LOT OF FAT! mash potatoes were supposed to be loaded- not this time. Red velvet and key lime cheesecake-cake overpowered by olive oil. I hate to send food back to the kitchen. Just won’t be coming here again. Too expensive for the quality/taste of food. $224 + $37 tip. Not worth it!

I ordered the grilled salmon, sweet potato fries, and mashed potatoes. We were seated at a table with a beautiful water view. It was a very enjoyable dinner.

This restaurant is a nice change for the area. The fare is upscale Southern and the atmosphere matches what you would expect to see in a restaurant in a major city. They accept reservations and are accommodating to larger parties. Within our party, the favorites were the blacked salmon, filet mignon, and blackened chicken. We also had the fried mac and cheese as well as a few orders of the beignets. The rice pilaf tasted very fresh and the stone ground cheese grits were very good. Both of those are highly recommended. The dessert menu is full of cakes from an award winning bakery in Macon.

This place was a hidden jewel. The food is delicious and the intimate setting was amazing. The wait time wasn’t long, the appetizers were very yummy. I had calamari and it was fried to perfection. I cannot wait to come back with my friends. They have several rooms to fit any occasion. The back porch looks like something you’d see in a movie. Beautiful!!! It is a must go for me.
