This was my first time at The Pond, and it was a great experience overall. We came out and celebrated our mom’s birthday, so our party of eleven was easily accommodated. One draw back for me was that I do wish there was a house made bread or roll offered to tie us over til our actual food came out because by the time we ordered appetizers, we were ravenous. I started with the Summer Bistro Salad, which was fresh and loaded with blueberries, strawberries, and grapes. For the main course, I had the smothered chicken, which came with potatoes and broccoli as a side. While it was a touch on the salty side, it was incredibly savory and delicious. Overall, everything was solid and we enjoyed ourselves. The birthday even got a free piece of chocolate cake. I will definitely be back.

I hosted an Etiquette Dinner at Pond, and the service was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. Every detail was handled with care—our guests felt valued, the atmosphere was elegant, and the attention to detail made the evening seamless.
The manager Brandon handled my requests with exceptional professionalism from the time I made reservations until we were seated. He made sure the table was set how I requested and for the server to serve at the pace of my teaching.
Our server Kelly anticipated our needs before we even asked, creating a refined dining experience that perfectly complemented the purpose of our event. The excellence in service elevated the entire evening, and we could not have chosen a better place to host such a special occasion.
The food was absolutely delicious and cheese cake melts in your mouth I was truly impressed with the service and the quality of the food.

We come here every year for our birthday. This year was excellent as always. TJ our server was exceptional as was the food. I highly recommend the Power bowl with a black bean burger. My friend had steak and said it was equally as good. We finished off with the strawberry cake, which was delicious Greg.

Normally I don’t make reviews on negative events, but I will make an exception. Food was very costly for what our family of four ordered. Two fried fish and grits. The two pieces of fish were on a diet. About 1/8 to 1/4 inch of meat. I guess the big bowl of grits were to offset the thin fish. Our other 2 dishes were not very tasty. It was my daughter’s birthday dinner, and the waiter knew that up front but never asked if we wanted a birthday desert. He collected our dishes and brought the ticket w/o asking if we wanted desert. I assume he wanted the table tuned over quickly so he could make another tip. This was our 2nd and final visit. No need for an apology since it’s difficult these days to run an excellent food business. I’m sure you will always have a crowd that loves your food and service.

Everything was fantastic for our first experience with the Sunday Brunch at Pond. Kelly was very attentive and made sure to explain what to do. Wouldn’t have known he was new at all until he admitted he was at the end! The set up was really nice the atmosphere is wonderful. The variety was exceptional. We will be back. So good! I’m stuffed! Each item is made uniquely annd with care— unlike other buffets— it’s not just a bunch of random food that’s moderate quality instead everything was unique and flavorful and could stand on it’s own.

Kelly was hands down the best server I’ve had at any restaurant with similar atmosphere. He told us it was his 3rd week but my wife and I swore he had to have been here since Pond opened. Very attentive. Great service. Not overbearing. Truly gave us a very memorable experience. The food was INCREDIBLE. No really. No butt kissing in this post. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. Paired with the mushroom sauce and I couldn’t get enough. I make it a point to try the Cesar salad everywhere I go and this was definitely top 3. Chilled. Perfect amount of dressing. Fresh grated cheese and the crunchiest of croutons. My wife had the salmon. I’m not a salmon guy but WOW with the bourbon sauce. Incredible. And if you get the asparagus. Get a whole extra side because you’re going to want more. 10/10 would recommend

Would come back again! Went here three times and always have a good time. Food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The sweet and spicy shrimp was delicious, an appetizer thats not on the main menu, its on features. Service was amazing. Overall, great experience.

Kelly was an amazing server during our visit and meal. He took good care of us, even helped to celebrate our 22 wedding anniversary with the most amazing chocolate decadence cake! I’m always impressed when I come here. This has easily become my “date with hubby” restaurant. Kudos to the owner and all who show up to make the dining experience here amazing!
