Ponce Restaurant is a cherished family-run gem established in 1998 by our Puerto Rican matriarch, Yolanda, hailing from the vibrant city of Ponce. We specialize in traditional Puerto Rican cuisine, with our signature Jibaritos, Mofongos, and Arroz con Gandules taking center stage. Each dish begins with our homemade sofrito, a recipe passed down through generations that captures the authentic flavors of the island. Our restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it’s a community cornerstone where family and friends gather to enjoy a piece of Puerto Rico. Come and savor the taste of tradition at Ponce Restaurant.

I do want to offer one tip for anyone booking them for an event: communication can be a bit challenging at first. It took several attempts to reach the catering contact by phone and email, and the phone support wasn’t the most helpful when trying to walk through menu options. After a few failed attempts, we finally decided to stop by in person and from that moment on, everything was smooth sailing.
Once we met with them, the service was great. During the tasting they went through all the menu options with us, made thoughtful suggestions, and were incredibly accommodating with our feedback. The final result exceeded our expectations.
They arrived at our venue, Row 24, exactly when they said they would and handled the entire setup themselves. Seeing the food truck outside with a long line of happy guests made the moment even more special. The photos speak for themselves. Everyone was excited to try the food.
If you’re considering Ponce for an event, just be prepared to follow up more than once in the beginning- it’s worth it. The food, the experience, and the joy it brought our guests made hiring them one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
I loved the jibaritos de lechon and the tostones. Definitely my new favorite Puerto Rican place!
