Great find in Morristown for gluten free food. There were plenty of options for an Italian restaurant. Anthony was wonderful, very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. He was very friendly and you could see he had a great rapport with all the customers. Had the GF saltimbocca and it was excellent. Back to Anthony…We even heard him speaking to the kitchen staff kindly. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been in Morristown for just over a year, and I am running out of places to try for good pizza. A friend recommended Pomodoro, I got the thin crust. Sorry but it was not good. Hardly any cheese, flavor just ok. How can this town just have average pizza at best? Looks like I’ll have to keep driving out of town for a good slice. Bah

Just to clarify, the issue wasn’t confusion over pizza styles — I’ve been eating New York slices and thin crust for decades. My feedback wasn’t about the style; it was about the execution. Thin crust can still have good balance, flavor, and cheese. This one just didn’t. I appreciate the invitation to try another option, but my review reflects the pizza I was served.

I love coming here for lunch. Anthony provides such a welcoming atmosphere and always a friendly face to see. Without fail, I get the chicken cutlet caesar salad. Anthony told me their caesar dressing is house made, and their cutlets are thin and crispy. If you’re feeling up to dessert, you have to try their homemade cannolis as well. The restaurant is usually busy, yet service is fast and it’s clean to dine-in.

Have had pizza here twice now – the super thin crust is like a cracker, and was very good but the standout for us was the regular crust cooked well done (you can choose this option when you order); both times we ordered to go with pickup and it was very good! Definitely crisp crust with some great char that holds up, cheese was tasty and meatball topping on one half was sliced thin and excellent. Great tomato flavor, all around one of the best pizzas in town (A Legna is the other). Service was friendly and welcoming.

Ordered the carbonara but it was SO salty and in a pool of grease. The pasta is over cooked as well so it’s a bit mushy and it tastes like plain olive oil with salt. I expected too much and that’s on me but for what I paid for it, I thought it would be better quality than what I received.

We came to pomodoros for my birthday and we had a great table. Our waitress was great I think her name was Anitnella and Anthony ceranaded us with his wonder voice sing happy birthday. Thank you for a wonderful night. The food was fabulous and the dessert was yummy! Look forward to coming back when it is a little warmer.

Stopped in today as we were visiting Jersey from out of town and Anthony was such an amazing host. He was super warm and made us feel at home even though we’re not from the area. The food had very large portions and was absolutely delicious. The pizza we ordered was crispy, the chicken parm is a must have, and everything we ate was so fresh.

My daughter has Celiacs Disease so we saw that Pomodoro’s Ristorante & Pizza had good reviews for GF Pizza and Penne Vodka so that is what we ordered . The food was delicious and my daughter didn’t get sick . We had Anthony for our waiter . He was very friendly and helpful with all our questions about getting Gluten Free food there . He had a nice chat with us about how they get the GF food locally and talked about the good quality of the food. It was really delicious , especially since it was Gluten Free . We have gone to many places where it wasn’t good and my daughter got sick but not at Pomodoro’s !!!!! We will be going back soon and hope to get Anthony again as our waiter .

Incredible. Anthony provided amazing service and the food was incredible. We are from South Carolina, but have roots in NJ, so we know good pie. The bottom was crispy, pizza was thin and HOT. Gosh, you gotta try it.

Wonderful experience. This is a place full of love and warmth. The Chicken Murphy was joyous – so spicy and warming and I’ve never had anything like it. The staff was friendly and even helped address issues with gluten. If my travels take me back this way, I know where we was re going for a great meal.
