The food was so delicious! I got a spicy pasta with chicken! My husband got some type of pesto gnocchi with house made sausage! We were both very happy with our meal. I will say the wait was kinda long, but that just means they are making it fresh! My main complaint about this place is how small it is. Most people were doing take out and some people had to stand outside or go wait in their car. Definitely not the best sit down environment. But the service was really good and the food well worth the wait. As for price… expect to pay about it $30 per person if you are wanting a full portion of food, a drink, and a dessert. They do offer half portions.

Wow is my 1st impression. I finally got a chance to check this place out. And glad I had the opportunity to do so. I also got the pleasure to meet Caroline the owner. A very sweet and straight forward person that gives very informative information about the dishes if asked. Also an upbeat attitude in customer service. Which is very welcoming.

I ordered 2 dishes. The 1st was the signature dish which the place is named after, the pomodoro. Its a penne noodle pasta with a light and vibrant tomato sauce. With some fresh basil, a hint of garlic and lastly extra virgin olive oil. Its complimented with some fresh focaccia bread. (Salivating while typing this! So good for my 1st time eating this.)
Next we have the obvious, and turns out….rightfully so, lasagna!!!! My god to in any pasta joint.
It is a (words taken from menue for exact description of dish) slow-simmered beef/pork rags style sauce, layered with creamy bèchamel…(Béchamel is a classic French “mother sauce” made from a simple mixture of butter, flour (forming a roux), and milk, seasoned with nutmeg and pepper, creating a rich, creamy white sauce used as a base for many dishes like lasagna, mac and cheese, and gratins. It’s a foundational sauce in cooking, known for its silky texture and versatility in building other complex flavors.) sauce, for di latte mozzarella and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. And baked fresh daily until out. (So hurry in for this dish. Its amazing. And coming from “THIS FOODIE ” im going to recommend this highly!!!!!

I was told buy Caroline that they order most ingredients locally. (I forgot the specific items but she’ll be glad to tell ya if asked.)
Another cool thing is how authentic this place is ran. I did overhear that at this day of the visit, they were out of calamari. And the reason is because the order they got wasn’t “up to par” and they decided to not serve it. And ordered somewhere else. That means a lot to me, being a customer. She wants nothing but the best and is very transparent doing so. Thats massive respect to the customers and to the business they are trying to build here.
And speaking of here…. she informed me that they’re looking into expanding to a bigger place for their 2nd shop here in the near future. So… they’re manifesting bigger things for great falls to enjoy a great italian, authentic, restaurant. That if you know….. we desperately need in this town!!!!
So in ending…..
I’ve tried 2 dishes … and am super excited to try everything there.
Caroline and her crew is doing a great job. And is adjusting very well to accommodate them along with their customers. And the transparency is very welcoming and respectful in my opinion. I hope nothing but the best for this place! And am looking forward to my next few visits. ✌️

I got the Truffle Cacio E Pepe full size and had the same experience as another review. I paid $18 for a full size that was filled maybe half the container. I would have been fine with this if the flavor was amazing but it tasted like plain noodles and some pepper. No cheese, no truffle flavor, and it was more watery than creamy. I also saw in the other review that he got bread with his pasta, and I didnt. I’m not sure if that’s a limited time only thing because it’s not on the menu that I saw, but if we paid the same amount I would have liked some bread too

Staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. Just some disappointing pasta for the price.

I kept my expectations low going in here cause I didn’t want to be let down. They more than exceeded my expectations. I got the half calebrese. It was fantastic. I didn’t know Montanan Italian food could be this good. They knocked this out of the park. There was so much flavor and the noodles were perfectly the tender. 10/10 will be going back and trying everything! I went late in the day around 7pm so they were out of desserts but next time I’m going earlier so I can try them!

Got half orders to try 2 things. The Arrabbiata was nice and spicy. I would eat that again. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was bland like an unseasoned alfredo sauce instead of Gorgonzola flavor and the Gnocchi were way overcooked. Possibly pan frying might make them hold up better in the sauce since its a to go place.

The bolognese was very good!!! I loved watching the efficiency of the kitchen, too. You also get rosemary focaccia bread with each entree.

Wow my first visit, and I was truly impressed. The chicken parm spaghetti, calamari, and Nero pasta were all excellent.

Finding high-quality Italian food can be tough even in big cities, so we’re lucky to have this place in Great Falls I’m really hoping they stay open for a long time.

Some people complain about price or portion sizes, but I think it’s a great value. Everything feels top-notch unlike the pasta you might get at Applebee’s or Montana Rib & Chop House in town. You get what you pay for.

Amazing place. I’ll definitely return soon!

Loved my food from here! I got the carbonara and added chicken and it was amazing!
I would suggest ordering online if you can as we had to wait 50 minutes for our two bowls of pasta, but it was a very busy night for them but everyone still had a smile on their faces. My husband got the al Tartufo Nero and unfortunately couldn’t taste any truffle that he was excited for.
Will be back and hopefully earlier in the day, as a good chunk of things were sold out by 6:30.

We ordered 2 orders of the pulensca with Italian sausage and one order of the Gluten free carbanara. The small space in which you can order and wait is nothing short of a madhouse, and the parking is somewhat precarious at best. I can’t speak for the gluten fee order, but I can say that the sausage was drastically overcooked and the food was so salty that consuming it was a painful ordeal. The complimentary garlic bread was cold and equally as salty. I am disappointed that we waited 45 min for this food. I will not be ordering from here again.

Aromatic and visually appealing atmosphere. Great portions, delicious food. A style of cooking and culture our town lacked, Pomodoro fulfilled.
Pictured – POMODORO & BURRO E PARMIGIANO with a side of Calamari.
10/10. Toddlers also approve.
