I am always looking for a new experience and THIS ONE was great. Our waitress was so wonderful to explain and give her recommendations. She was very attentive and never let our beverages go empty. Our food was absolutely amazzzzzing, we each got something different so we could try it all. Their hummus & spinach dips are divine. We were all pleasantly delighted with each course we ordered. Definitely don’t skip on this restaurant…it will now become apart of my Greenville foodie rotation.

By far the best salmon I’ve ever had! And their homemade hummus is addicting. If you’re looking for delicious, fresh Persian food, this is the spot! I only wish I didn’t wait so long to try this place out.

Here is an update:
Although everything described below reflects my actual experience, I want to add this note for fairness. After my review, the restaurant contacted me directly, reviewed the situation with management, acknowledged the ambiguity in their menu wording, and handled the matter professionally. They have apologized, are refunding the unintended portion of the charge, and informed me that they are making clarifications to their menu to prevent recurrence.
To give credit where it is due, owning an error and correcting it is a virtue. I appreciate the management team’s response and their willingness to take concrete steps to improve.

I paid $100 for rice.
They really rip you off there. Do not order the “Tour of something something.”
It says “$40 per person,” then they charge you for four people even if you’re only two.
The meat is very dry. Appetizers are literally one spoon total. Look at the pictures and how much cheese they served — my cat can eat six cubes of that.
And they put pineapple in kebab. Maui kebab, not Iranian.
They served ice cream and tea at the same time. Hot and cold are not served together.
Ask them to calculate your check before you order, just in case.

Extraordinary cuisine, service, and atmosphere. The food we enjoyed had so much explosion of brilliant flavours, including this Traditional Persian ice cream pictured. I enjoyed the beef tenderloin torch kebab and asked to substitute the rice for their famous cranberry bastimi rice. 10/10 recommend. My mate ordered the pomegranate ice cream- this should be an absolute must when dining at this establishment!

amazing kabobs, starters, and cocktails. we really liked the chicken kabobs, pomegranate rice, koobideh kabob, and fresh hummus. For drinks, we really liked the pomegranate martini and walnut cracker!

Great lunch, nice atmosphere, friendly sever. The appetizers were amazing, great selection of vegetarian options.
Got one spinach and one eggplant dip, delicious on their bread. Son got the vegtable kabobs and I got the eggplant stew, we enjoyed both. Beautiful location on Main Street, right across the street from the waterfalls to go on nice walk after eating. Inside and outside dinning.

We had a good time at Pomegranate on Main. The staff were kind and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The food was full of flavor, and there were plenty of Persian options to choose from.

The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is the portion sizes. The special of the night, while delicious, was a bit small for the price. The drinks also came in pretty small glasses, which made the overall value feel a little off.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back. Great vibe and good food. Just hoping for a bit more value next time.

My fiance and I visited pomegranate on main Saturday, February 21. We had reservations, but the hostess was really strange with us. It took her awhile to find us a table, didn’t speak to us when we walked in (just asked if we had reservations) and just overall seemed bothered. We sat on the patio, which was nice, but as the evening went on, it got a bit chilly. The food was good. Not really hot though and the portions seemed smaller than we were used to here.

When we got our bill, it was $70 for the two of us. One appetizer, two entrees, and water to drink. While reading the receipt, we noticed that they charge for extra pita bread now. $2 extra for maybe six small pieces of pita. The first basket is so small you actually have to get another basket if you want to enjoy the appetizer and Persian breakfast. I’m not sure when they started doing this, but every time we went, extra bread was free. With all the extra fees (I get it, downtown Greenville has become very popular), prices, and portion sizes, this restaurant isn’t worth it anymore. We are heartbroken because this was truly one of our favorite places. Unfortunately they are just another restaurant where you can’t justify frequenting there anymore.

The beef kabobs with cranberry basmati rice was delicious. The complimentary bread with butter and feta cheese was decent but nothing super special. The inside felt cozy and well-decorated. Overall, I had a good time there.

Perfect place for a delicious bite and great ambiance

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on our birthday trip since it got such great reviews on Trip Advisor, and I love Persian food. First, their customer service is fantastic! Even though we arrived 10 minutes before they closed for lunch, they still sat us and were extremely friendly and gracious!

We sat outside on the courtyard, and it was a very nice calm oasis away from the busy street just outside. One of the things I really appreciated was each item on the menu came with a wine recommendation. My boyfriend got the Persian mule and OMG I am not normally a mixed drink person but that was refreshing, delicious and not too sweet tasting.

Definitely get the hummus to start and use all the veggies in their veggie tray with it. We weren’t that hungry so shared the chicken kabob plate and everything from the roasted tomatoes to the saffron rice with cranberries was delicious and I kind of wish I had ordered the whole plate for myself since the chicken was so tender and well seasoned without being overly salty.

I would definitely recommend this place whether you’re enjoying a casual lunch, looking for a nice dinner, or even need something delicious and healthy to go.
