I had an amazing experience at The Polo Lounge in Carlisle! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a great time. I am a truck driver that typically stays at the hotel that hosts this bar about 2-3 nights a month. I’m a low level regular at best. I’m a truck driver and value the fact that this hotel offers truck parking! Over the past few months I have seen a change in the demographic of the bar attendees and the music playing. I’m happily open to anything or anyone and welcome any conversation being a die hard sports lover. Tonight I 100% was run off and in no uncertain terms was notified by fellow attendees that I wasn’t exactly welcome in the bar. I was born & raised in Chicago and have unfortunately spent time in Hotel California about 30 years ago – you know when it’s time to go… This wasn’t a bar tender thing – it was a clear message from fellow bar attendees. This is a factual statement of my experience at Polo Bar tonight. I hope that your experience there is better than mine was tonight…

I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and hot. They use the good fries that cook up crispy. The beer is cold. The service is friendly and reasonably fast. It’s priced very cheap compared to back home.
