New location for a restaurant with their original location in the Alton area. They have some issues to work on, such as several dirty tables while we were there, although staff were standing around the counter and people waiting at the entry area for a place to sit. Dirty dishes were piled up on a cart, not being taken to the kitchen area to be washed. We had breakfast. Wasn’t too bad. The bacon, hashbrowns and corned beef hash definitely need to be cooked longer so it’s crisp and not soft and mushy. Breakfast and lunch are served all day. We’ll come back to give them another try.

This is a very new restaurant in town and they are working out some kinks but overall if your able to get a seat the food is good! I’ve eaten the breakfast skillet, biscuits and gravy & the mushroom and swiss burger. I suggest the breakfast skillets! You def won’t regret it and you won’t be hungry when you leave.
The only reason I would give this place less than 5 stars is that the horseshoe has yellow cheese as an option. I prefer white cheeses and the biscuits and gravy needs a bit of tweaking in order for most people to enjoy as it seems a bit bland to me and I’m not a spice or salt person at all. Also I want fried potatoes not hashbrowns or home fries but keep in mind these are my preferences.
Overall a great place to eat with and good atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Best Biscuits and Gravy in town. A great menu selection. Fast and friendly! Fresh and hot. Cooked to perfection. Hope they are here to stay and expand their hours for dinner.
