Karina was really friendly and helpful. Our meals were extremely satisfying, the Comeback Chicken is trend worthy and the Classic Polly’s Burger juicy, meaty and tasty. Beer battered onion rings are the way to go. No room for a pie this time, but well worth the trip just for a slice or whole pie.

Polly burger combo is great choice plus it comes with a slice of pie. If you go on Wednesday, they have bingo night. First time going on a Wednesday for bingo night and most definitely looking forward for the next time.

Beware, they have slimmed down the kids portions it seems. We eat regularly at their Santa Ana location and always thought it was fine. Today, I ordered a take out and I had the most ridiculous order of chicken and fries for my son (8). It was so tiny that I called because I thought it was an accident. A fairly arrogant manager called Kyle informed me that they are (now?) pre-weighed at 3oz. Wish I had known this before because I had been happy to order some extra fries because… I’m actually embarrassed to offer this to my boy. He will think that I ate his fries before giving it to him . Not impressed how the restaurant handled my phone call at all. Very arrogant and condescending, like I should have ZERO expectations for 5.99 . I’d rather pay more and get a realistic size because this won’t feed anyone above 3yo.

The food was good. A diner atmosphere great for family dining. The cinnamon roll was huge and very good. The dining room seemed like it needed a good cleaning.

Not worth it! Ordered the have it all skillet. For the money i was expecting a big plate. It’s in an 8 inch cast iron skillet. It was so tasteless i had to put salt and tabasco. Potatoes were tender but no crispy edges. It was such a boring meal. And my wife got food poisoning from her one egg combo. Apple pie was just ehhh too. Black bear diner still our number one place. Never coming back here.

Ordered the beef dip. It had absolutely no flavor! The other meals were mediocre. The service at the table was ok, but we were going to get a pie when we were checking out, and the person handling the front was literally wiping his nose with his hands. We said, nervermind! We won’t be back

First time here for brunch with my daughter. I’ve eaten and loved their Coconut Cream Pie but never dined here. The lady server was so nice, cheerful, and courteous. The food was decent, tasty but not high standard by any means… The skillet was supposed to be hot but my Pastrami Hash Skillet was just slightly warm. The restroom was pretty bad… stinky and on the dirty side. Two stars were deducted.

Excellent….food yummy…service great…kid and wheelchair friendly…parking is tight but to be expected. We got a lunch / dinner meal because we are from Georgia and our body clocks were on that time.

The food: Very good! The omelette was everything I was wanting and the coffee was actually pretty good. The hashbrowns were also very good. The toast wasn’t dry, but it was crispy.
The service: Very friendly and accommodating. Frank was our server and he was attentive, the right level of chatty, and got all of our orders correct. The hostess was also swift and well organized.
The atmosphere: Pretty cool. Restrooms are clean and stocked, while the main interior has kitschy decor which is just right for this type of place. Great for the family or friends!
