Pollyfreeze: Very friendly staff, very friendly atmosphere. And the food was excellent. I really enjoyed my fish sandwich, my wife enjoyed her barbecue sandwich. Ran out of time so we couldn’t get the ice cream, but. we’ll go again soon for that. Plenty of seating room at outdoor tables with some of them covered in case rain shows up. This is a very old establishment that is a “must” if you are in Georgetown or passing through.

I’m a third time visitor from Michigan. We tried food today. Not fast food but it was priced ok and tasted good.
We ordered ice cream next. Much faster service on this. My favorite is the black raspberry sundae.

Lines are long and service is slow, but the food is prepared to order and served hot. The choices of shakes and desserts seems limitless.
Eating at Polly’s Freeze is a local tradition. Well worth the wait.

If you’ve never been, you must go one of Southern Indiana’s most Iconic ice cream shops. Go for dinner and a treat. All seating is exposed to the elements. Most nights are super busy, so if you’re looking to pop in and out, plan an early trip.

Great mom and pop ice cream shop. They serve all kids of burgers, sandwiches, freezes, milkshakes, etc. We always visit when seeing our relatives that live there.

The classic drive-in diner! Polly’s freeze is a southern Indiana staple. My family has come here for decades. They have kept the classic feel and have a complete menu of burgers, hot dogs, fries and the like. Don’t forget the ice cream! Loads of fun treats to cool you off and enjoy.

This is a local classic and cannot be overlooked. There’s plenty to choose from as long as you love fried foods and ice cream. Start with a classic: dressed Pollyburger with fries and a shake. Always good quality on food and reasonable service. The line gets very long on mild, sunny days. Plenty of outdoor seating is available, but the picnic tables under the awning are the place for beginners. The road noise is a downside as drivers roar past the joint going entirely too fast and entirely too close to the waiting line.

Cute little small town ice cream shop! I wish I had snapped a picture of the menu for next time. There was a line, but it moved quickly.

Ordered a cheeseburger and a froyo sundae. Both were very good and burger/ingredients tasted fresh. Seating is outside picnic tables on a porch, nice for when the weather is good. Nice spot to get off the interstate and have lunch.

Polly’s Freeze has been a fan favorite sine I was a teen. This place offers some amazing flavors of ice creams, shakes, malts, sodas, smoothies and floats. The server several all-American foods from hamburgers, fried fish, chicken tenders, and even corn dogs. While you probably won’t loose weight after a Polly’s freeze meal, you will certainly earn brownie points with the kids. One great feature of this ice cream stand is that they are open till 9:00pm during their peak season Plenty of picnic tables set up for outdoor dining.
