Service and portion size could be improved. I ordered the 8 piece chicken dinner with sausage and added a short rib. The flavor was good, but the pieces were so small that they looked like they could have been from quail.
They told me the price was $31.50, but after I paid, I saw they added an extra $1.11 for paying with credit card. I don’t mind the fee, but it should be disclosed up front, especially since I had the cash on hand and could have avoided that fee.

Family and I visited Houston and we chose this place because of the amazing reviews and I am so glad we did. Their Pollo Asado plates are bigger portions than they do back home. We ordered 2 chickens for 3 of us and we ended up taking leftovers home, we are so used to small portions. Needless to say, the price is worth it, big portions and of course amazing taste. Friendly service as well. If we ever come back to Houston definitely stopping by again.

Was in the mood for a good ole Pollo Asado; translation/ Mexican style barbecued whole chicken cooked over mesquite wood . We ordered a 20$ 8 pcs meal which is the full chicken , Charros for two, Rice, Delicious must have grilled onion & corn tortillas. Also ordered a large Guacamole for 5$ . Combine that with the two delicious Salsas / chips and you got a small feast ; all for 26$ total. My wife and I enjoyed the meal , it was good nice to my wallet as well . Give them a try , the food taste as good as it smells when you pass by.

I really enjoy this place. Eating here is a real treat. I look forward to the taste of their food. Their grilling is top notch. The servers have always been really polite. I don’t remember ever coming here and not being served with smiles by the younger and older staff. Do yourself a favor and get a grilled onion whenever you’re here. If you are an onion lover, the grilled onion alone will make you come back. . We had a meal for two which was 8 peices of chicken plus rice, beans and tortilla for $13. We had water to drink.

1/2 mix parrillada – i get 6 tortillas instead of 12. No chicken, on a MIXED order, i order extra salsa and i just receive 1 when i was told 3 and beans must’ve been frozen prior because they were cold AF.
