I just want to give a big shout-out to the young lady Maria working the drive-thru last night. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and had such a positive attitude that it honestly made my night better. She took my order carefully, made sure everything was correct, and even double-checked to be sure I had everything I needed. She also offered to try your new cheesy plantain bites. It’s not often you come across customer service this kind and genuine anymore, and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for the great service and the warm smile. you’re doing an awesome job!

Been a few years since I visited a Pollo Tropical restaurant and today was a decent experience.
They got rid of the dipping sauce bar and self serve drinks. Now you have to ask for sauce and drink refills.
The chicken was good, but not fresh off the grill which is much better. All in all not a bad meal for $9. The nice part for me was that the place was empty which meant no line and my choice of tables to sit at.

Just ordered the Chipotle Mayo Chicken sandwich with fries.
They gave me an order of Yukon ut switched it out with no problem.
Bit into my sandwich and had to spit into a napkin, something wasn’t right with the flavor.
Before I discarded into the trash my friend who bought lunch today said say something to the manager.
Honestly, after that, my mood for food was negative.
Ended up trashing it and leaving after friend finished his lunch.
If I would have bought the lunch, I would have said to the manager, a refund is needed

I was disappointed with my experience, mainly because of the dining area. It was extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation or enjoy the meal. The cashier couldn’t take my order because it was so loud in the kitchen. The noise level really took away from the overall atmosphere. They were all yelling and I couldn’t understand the cashier. This is an everyday occurrence . Especially when I go thru the drive thru, you can hear them yelling in the background . On top of that, the dining area closed earlier than expected, which felt inconvenient and rushed. It was only 9 pm and the girl was closing the doors and the seating area. She was also slamming the chairs around and making loud noises. Unfortunately, these issues made the visit less enjoyable than anticipated. I hope improvements can be made in the future.

I had the worst meal I ever had, what a waste of $58.00! I ordered the chicken breast meal with mash potatoes & gravy, yellow rice with vegetables, the chicken did NOT look like the menu picture. Two dried up tough, small discs of chicken. So dry I could not eat them without choking. And very small…I fed them to my dogs. Mashed potatoes & gravy were good but very small portion, and it was extra $1.50, didn’t touch the rice, it was dried out and the vegetables had a few peas, another extra $1.50.
So disappointing. My daughter got the deluxe chop chop bowl, it was so small, didn’t even come up to the edge of the bowl, and she ordered two sauces that come with it, only got one so it was too dry to eat! My grandaughter got the “steak” or whatever they call it. Meat looked like small little pieces of brown dried up leather. Just awful….disgusting meals. Really a rip off. I wish I took pictures, a picture is worth a million words.
Never again! What a waste of my hard earned money!! How do these people stay in business serving this crap? I gave one star b/c there were no option for negative stars which is what I would have chosen. Do better Polo Tropical, it’s embarrassing for your company.

Horrible experience. I had an extremely disappointing experience in the drive-thru this morning . I understand fast food can get busy, but that’s no excuse for poor service and a bad attitude. From the moment I placed my order, the young girl sounded annoyed and impatient. I was rushed while ordering, and when I asked a simple question about a menu item, I was met with silence and then an irritated tone. After waiting a long time in line, I finally got to the window only to be handed the wrong order. Her attitude is very nasty. When I pointed out the mistake, the employee barely acknowledged it and acted as if I was being difficult for wanting what I actually paid for. There was no apology, no friendliness, and no sense of customer service.

The customer service is terrible. I have been to this location several times and the window attendant is always rude. And it’s not just one person ever person who works at this location at the window always forget something about my meal and gives me attitude as if it’s my fault. I’m not trying to complain but the bare minimum would be at least okay customer service

DONT ORDER ONLINE – missing items from my order and you have to deal with the restaurant via phone – they have no way to fix problem other than going all the way back. also waited 7 minutes for the poor girl at the register to clear her line to ask me what I was waiting for. 7 other staff all ignored me. just stand in line and order as a walk-in customer.
