This was inside the salad that I ordered.I was chewing my salad when I felt something weird and it was that. I ordered something for my child as well, what if instead my food were inside my kid meal? Pollo tropical is getting nasty right now!! That is very dangerous and I will be reporting this and taking actions, my child or me could be harmed with that. I don’t even know what it is, but I know is sharp in one of the edges and that could lead to a serious injury. I’m never ever again going back or ordered anything from there!!!

The conditions at this Pollo Tropical reflect a serious lapse in operational standards. The exterior shows extensive dirt and buildup that clearly has not been addressed for a prolonged period, suggesting a complete absence of routine maintenance. Inside, the persistent smell of grease and the visibly poor level of hygiene raise legitimate concerns about the restaurant’s sanitation practices. For a company that generates substantial daily revenue, maintaining such inadequate cleaning standards is unacceptable. It conveys a lack of respect for customers and for the basic principles of food safety. Florida should enforce stricter regulatory requirements because no establishment serving food to the public should operate under these conditions.

The only saving grace for this restaurant is how flavorful the food is & you get a lot for the price. Service was ok. There were a lot of workers just standing around with 2 empty registers. After 10 minutes a lady finally came over to take our order. Every table was dirty. When I asked for sauces the lady had major attitude. I recommend just doing the drive thru or pick up. Just make sure your order is correct before you leave…

I order pollo tropical at least once a week but today they gave me nothing but bones and a premature baby chicken. Pollo Tropical please do better. I don’t want to take my business to La Brasa, which btw they have a good deal and chicken tastes good. $22 for whole chicken, rice, beans and plantains.

Pork? Dry. Chicken? Tiny and dry. Cilantro garlic sauce? Couldn’t tell you because not only did they not give us the 2 per meal we ordered but they also didn’t give us the 10 we ordered and paid for. I used to want to eat this every night for dinner but the last few times we did it was horrible.

I just purchased food from the drive thru tonight. Reiny at the window was extremely rude. Both myself and my husband noticed the attitude from the drive thru speaker. When we pulled up to the window, there was no greeting, no hello, nothing. She just pulled out the machine to pay. When we received our food, my husband tried to tell her “hope you have a better day” and in between that she just closed the window and walked off. Honestly, managers should just let employees go for the day if they’re having a bad day.

They only take one order at a time in drive thru so be prepared to wait. I’m assuming their short staff. Horrible first experience! No wonder you wait so long … when you order you have to repeat yourself because she didn’t listen so obviously she’s doing other things. I still don’t understand they take one card order and you wait and wait before they take the next order. As I watch the lady who works drive thru in the red shirt instead of taken orders she’s cleaning counters!!!!! Huh!!!!
Really that’s the 2 piece white meat!!!!! Lol why do I have a big box with nothing in it come on!!!

I love this chain. This particular location disappoints me. I went through the drive through ordered chicken, lettuce, onion and white rice with garlic cilantro and the order was repeated back to me correctly. However, when I got my food I peaked in the bag to make sure there was sauce…. There wasn’t so I parked and ran in and got the sauce, but I failed to check my food order before I left the area and when I got home, there were beans in my food and I specifically asked for no beans as I can’t eat them. The service felt very rushed and very disappointing

We ordered frequently from this location, usually via Door Dash. Tonight was the third time they screwed up an order or sent bad meals. Crispy Fired chicken was thin and dry, like shoe leather. No one answer the phone when I tried to call to complain. So it went right in the trash. No more Polo for us. Avoid this location at all costs. I do not know how they can even serve this to a paying customer. Even the one star is too high.
And please do not give me the same cut and paste response you gave others who were not happy, especially when customer service never even bothered to return my call.
