Went to get whole chicken with black beans.. I saw they have cheesy plantains.. I ordered some to try .. I got 4 pieces for 4:99 .. 3 of the 4 weee missing the main ingredient.. guess … cheese .. what a joke .. the one with the cheese was a small sliver .. lets just say it has cheese .. don’t bother getting them .. bland and not good for the taste.. just taste like masa fried .. black beans were watered down .. chicken is good for the price ..

Ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was cold. The cheese was not even melted. The drive-through time was very fast though. But there was definitely zero care in making the food. The gentleman at the window was fine and amenable. But clearly they’re in too much of a rush to make sure their food is even hot. A quesadilla at that.

I recently returned after some time to Pollo Tropical specifically to see if you still served your Caribbean soup, and was very pleased to find that it is still on the menu.
The soup was exactly as I remembered and even now exceeded my expectations.
It was simply delicious, featuring a wonderful thick base and generous portions of chicken, yuca, and plantains.
I was certainly not disappointed and truly enjoyed the meal.

I can’t make this up. Why is the prices going up and the food looks like this? It’s cold as hell and the serving size is ridiculous. Y’all will be giving me a free meal after I paid almost $10 for what. A burnt small piece of dry chicken. Do better.

So I bought the pork sandwich which in the advertisement is loaded with meat and cost $8 dollars due to all the meat! The sandwich should be $2.99, theirs a third of the meat that comes on the sandwich than the picture on the menu.. certainly not worth no $8 dollars if I have to eat three to be semi full

I ordered online and picked up the food. It was not ready at time stated on receipt. It took 15 minutes additional. Two items missing about 10$ in value and none of the requested sauces were in the bag.i trusted the sealed bag was complete. When I get home and realized we were short I called the number on the receipt. I enter the information requested, and it tells me to call back later when I can give them all of the information and goes dead. I have the information because it was emailed to me. This place has gone downhill steadily in the past two years. I’m done with it.

They were killing the drive through but at the expense of the inside diners. Four delivery drivers stood there for 20 minutes while we walked in, ordered and were then served. They just forgot about them. After I picked up, they all charged the counter then got served.

Wanted a chicken sandwich with cheese. Said no problem. Got a 1/4 of a chicken breast with a side of shredded cheese.. Wanted a chicken Ceasars salad. Got watered down dressing and a hand full of chicken. Ordered a choppy top and they forgot the sauce after asking atleast 3 time. Not a single item Ordered was correct or even worth the price. Every time I come here I remember why I don’t. Sad because it used to be a quality establishment.

Staff needs training. Food not made correctly, wrong ingredients in food, quesadilla put in the hot press, open, so it didnt even get toasted and half of the chicken stuck tp the plate. Charge $4 for fries, to not even give them to me. Very disappointed. Used to be my favorite location, not anymore. 45th street has it together much more than this location.
