This is hands down the best Pollo Tropical in Miami. We have gotten Pollo for dinner almost every Sunday for the past 3 years and our order is always perfect and the food is always so tasty. They are speedy and of course the affordability is the cherry on top.

Used to visit Pollo Tropical on a weekly basis but haven’t in awhile. I decided to give it another try and realized why I haven’t. The place used to be packed but it isn’t anymore. For one, the representative could’ve given a crap if I was there. I ordered what I wanted which was 1/2 chicken meal with black beans, white rice and a side order of totones and a drink. She gives me my drink and the lid for whatever reason and she figures it out the cup was defective the lid wouldn’t seal. She takes the drink pours it in another where it seals but before she did she put her thumb in my drink which turned me off. I don’t care if she had blue gloves on but you don’t do that. I’m sure they weren’t trained like that. I asked her I needed salt for my tostones but she it already had salt. I didn’t! I asked her if I could get more salt but she said they didn’t have it. The black beans also had no taste and I could’ve use some salt. Pollo Tropical used to be a place to go but it’s not what it use to be. I won’t be returning to Pollo Tropical. It’s definitely not what it use to be.

From an out of state guy who has never tried Chipotle, I had a good experience here. $11.55 for this large bowl. Many options (not just for bowls) and a drive thru. Chicken was the most flavorful part of my meal. Rice was plain, but what would one expect. This fed me for two meals. What a deal! I’ll be back again.

I met Mario on the trolley back to the crib and I actually never had Pollo Tropical but the homie Mario was just talking about how gas it was like they literally fire the grilled chicken right in front of you and its just about as fresh as it can really get, never frozen. Bro I ain’t never had Pollo Tropical before but best believe imma be going to go grab some from Mario asap. And it was a blessing I met him because if he wouldn’t of forgotten his has that day he wouldn’t of gotten sent home early. So shoutout to Mario gang ill see you there

They changed the yuka fries. They are not good anymore, and don’t have the stringy bits that let you know it’s real yuca. It’s just mush fried in little balls now. I love Pollo but the yuca fries thing just made me soooo sad.

Always great food. Revisited on a visit to Miami, and its still great. Who would’ve thought grilled chicken could be so moist and flavorful. Only reason service is a 4, is because I dont speak Spanish, sonics was a bit difficult to place my order. Its worth though.
