The rice , beans and fries were outstanding!! However stood there for 15 minutes before they took my order, they were more worried about drive thru orders. Chicken was piping hot unfortunately it was beyond dried /mumified…sucks i didnt eat pollo tropical for over 12 years i hyped myself too much :/

The service here has become a joke unfortunately. It used to be on point and ive been coming here for years. Sometimes its fine but about 1/2 the time my to go orders wrong. Either things are missing or get things in the tropi chop that i never ordered. My most recent order i asked for plantains and got tostones . The cashier is great its always right on the receipt. Food is good too.

Stale salad, stale croutons, dry chicken, and old chicken , a complete disaster. Water tastes bad, just like unfiltered tab water. The only thing which was good at this store was the restroom..

As someone who eats at different Pollo Tropical locations across Miami 2–3 times a week, this is by far the worst location I’ve experienced.

When I asked for the manager, a girl taking drive-thru orders (wearing a headset) came over and said she was the manager. I knew the actual manager was the lady in the red T-shirt and insisted on speaking to her. When she came, she apologized and offered to replace the salad, but I didn’t have time and left.

The store smells bad, the food tastes stale, and the setup is confusing. There are two lines with no clear signs, so I waited in the wrong one. Customers need proper direction.

If this continues, this location’s rating will easily drop to 1 star.

Went for a small cup of soup which was pretty good,but the wait time was ridiculos,about 15 minutes and only had 2 customers ahed of me,every one seemed to be lost at work some room for improvement there.

Super unorganized behind the counter to fill orders until the manager stepped in. They crested a large crowd in the order line and eating area, waiting for their orders for at least twenty minutes. And it was past the lunch rush. It was two thirty in the afternoon on a Sunday.
I would go back for the great food and great value. As long as there is not a giant crowd waiting in the restaurant, just to get their orders.

I ordered online for pick up time at 4:45pm. I arrived at about 5:00pm, however my order wasn’t ready yet. And after I picked up my order, I came back home and opened bag, and the order was so messed up. I ordered family meal but there was one individual meal inside, plus family rice and beans, they also didn’t put any of the sauce I ordered . My child is upset. I really want to go and return it, but I’m too tired and hungry and don’t have the energy to do so.

Gave up on the hospitality business a long time ago until I met Kenan, I had been on a temporary hiatus from this location because of service in the past but walking in this time kenan made sure to greet me with a welcoming smile, took my order with care and even informed me on the dessert menu, sadly was unable to have sugar at the time but overall amazing service. More restaurants need to hire people like this because it makes me wanna come back again and again when the person in front makes you feel welcome and not like you’re just another order.

The lack of professionalism and customer service here is sad. Is there any training that goes into their employee training? Food is okay but I do not recommend coming here due their very poor customer service. Make sure to ask for cutlery if making a to go order , and specify for spoons if ordering a soup. Other Pollo Tropicals have much better service.

Example They gave me the wrong order and wouldn’t even apologize. I politely brought back my order and the guy literally said nothing. I asked for the manager and again the guy at the register said nothing. Didn’t say, sure I’ll get the manager or anything just walked to the back. Not even a “oh I’m sorry about that”. Zero. I have no complaints about the manager but staff should show basic customer service skills.

Nick, the manager at Pollo Tropical, truly went above and beyond! He stepped in and made our very last-minute catering order a complete success for our staff holiday party. His professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to help under time pressure made all the difference. Everything was handled smoothly, the food was great, and my staff was thrilled.

We stopped in after a long day of air travel without food and grabbed chicken, beans, rice and yuca. It was absolutely the BEST food and the GM, Nick, was overseeing training of new employees and I was impressed watching his hands on approach at making sure everyone was doing their best.
It is refreshing to see people take pride in their jobs.
I’ll be back!
