Chicken was delicious, but I order 6 tostones and 2 out 6 were good, meaning the rest 4 were refried. Tostones refried is hard and no tasty full of oil. So if you fix that I’ll give 5 star .

This has got to be without a doubt, one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Whoever owns this location has totally let this place go and it is not even worth visiting anymore. The service here is absolutely abysmal. Rude and incompetent employees.
Trying to be a customer here has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. for whatever reason my order is NEVER correct or on time when i order here. The last time I tried ordering here I waited for over 30 minutes in the lobby ( not a single employee addressed me or asked if i was being helped while i sat at the counter) just for them to tell me they never even got the order. Complete waste of my time, and to top it off the customer service hotline to resolve these issues is 10 times more useless and frustrating.
Do not give pollo tropical any of your money. Terrible terrible terrible.

ordered. tells me to park cause the fried chicken is gonna take 4 minutes. parked, waited 15 minutes, no food. i go inside it’s sitting there, they forgot to bring it out. get home go to eat the order is wrong and the food is cold. no sauce give that was asked for. don’t even think it was my correct order. it’s 9:30pm. i just wanted a good clean dinner.

You know, I took a day to think about the meal that I had before I rated it because while the environment wasn’t bad and the food was OK, I had to really think about what made it pop and stand out as a place I would like to return to. And to be honest with you, I wouldn’t I found the food to be mediocre at best. The chicken was lightly seasoned, but OK. The yellow rice was very bland and definitely required mixing the beans and the side of hot sauce in order for it to really come together well. I don’t think any of the items I had could stand alone as a single item I would try again.
We ordered quite a few things from the menu. One of the items was forgotten, and when we went back to the register to retrieve it, it was replaced immediately, which made me think it was going to be fresh, but when we got back to the table with the item it was very Bland and overcooked. That item was a side of fried yuca. It was almost impossible to chew it. It was that dry, and that hard. This is my first time visiting a Pollo tropical, and to be honest with you, it was very underwhelming enough to make me not want to try another location if you’re in the mood for underseasoned, cheap food, then yes, go here, but I expect a place that has multiple locations would invest in the quality of service as well as the quality of food. I didn’t find that here. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the establishment was pretty clean and by the way the food was handled as far as seasoning etc. and getting the bare minimum of a hot meal I would expect the inside of the restaurant to be a hot mess. Otherwise, based on food alone, I definitely wouldn’t go higher than one. It was OK, but nothing to write home about and I have had way better from a side of the road food truck then I did here.

I’ve been to this location a couple of times, and unfortunately the same rude employee took my order today as the last time I visited. He’s a younger white guy with ginger hair and both times his attitude has been unbelievable. Zero customer service, very hostile, and just gives the weirdest energy.
Today I had my cat sitting calmly on my lap in the car, and out of nowhere he looked at him and said “evil cat.” Completely unprovoked. Who even says that to a customer? The lack of professionalism is honestly shocking.
On top of that, my order was wrong again. I ordered three cilantro garlic tostones and they only got half of it correct. The other half was something totally different, with bell peppers I never asked for. I didn’t realize until I got home and then while eating my pork, I literally bit into the longest hair I’ve ever found in food. I had to pull it out of my mouth. It was disgusting and unsafe. I could’ve choked.
I already filed a complaint with corporate because this location is completely unacceptable. Between the rude, inappropriate employee and the disgusting food quality, I definitely won’t be returning.

The Picture that i iust posted was Dissapointed. i asked for yellow rice n i got White rice. But very Dissapointed is when they dont fill it up at least to the top come on. PLUs it was almost 40$ bucks.

I remember always serving the customers alot because at the end the day the food will get thrown to the trash I remember Managers n Leads at the time would get upset because of the amount we would serve them!!!
Because to be honest Pollo tropical serves you less and pay more! And i guess things Haven’t changed for the past 14yrs,
But i still go Once every blue moon and i like the food but its not the same!! Such shame ♀️ ♀️

Ordered three trop-a-chops, not a single one was correct. It was as if they completely ignored the instructions and requests given. Really bad experience regarding accuracy, it was like the crew didn’t care in the slightest, manager included. Normally when a situation is messed up badly, a manager would step in, yet she didn’t even speak to me. Not their fault regarding control but didn’t help that I also got soaked coming back in to correct the order because it was raining, honestly felt had I went back in the drive thru, the order would have been messed up again. There are two other locations and I believe they will do a better job, so avoid this spot if you can. If I could have left 0/5 stars regarding accuracy, I truly would have.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They always forget something because all they do is talk to each other. They don’t work at all. Every time I go there they forget at least two things. The most useless team of workers I’ve ever seen. I always ask for Caesar dressing on the side and I even see it printed on the receipt but they never do it. Who ever is running this business and hiring this useless team of chatty workers is failing. The store number on the website isn’t even a store number it’s a customer service line that makes you do a 20 minute questionaire and then just hangs up on you and sends you a text message saying they can’t process refunds on the same day. Horrible horrible location.
