Absolutely love this place, been coming often for a couple years. Best chicken I’ve had in a very long time, possibly ever. The seasoning and smoky flavor is just incredible, and it’s crispy skin with juicy meat every time. Best Peruvian sauces I’ve had. The yuca is always cooked perfectly and fresh. The staff is so nice, and even when they’re busy the wait is never too long. Their prices are the most reasonable I’ve found for food in Reston of any kind, especially for the quality of food. I could eat here daily honestly, highly recommend.

Pollo Peru in Reston never disappoints. Their charcoal-grilled chicken is juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned every time. You can smell that smoky rotisserie the moment you walk in, and it tastes even better than it smells. The sides are great too. Especially the yuca fries and the plantains. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the green sauce is addicting (I always ask for extra!).
The staff is quick, friendly, and the food comes out fast even when they’re busy. Whether it’s takeout or eating there, it’s consistently great. If you’re craving Peruvian chicken in Northern Virginia, this is easily one of the best spots around. Highly recommend!

Pollo Peru Reston, the original of the two locations, holds a special place in our hearts from our time living in Reston. The food here is absolutely phenomenal, and it has consistently delivered some of the best Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken and sides. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family. The seating area is clean and spacious, and you can tell they take pride in maintaining a great customer experience.
What sets Pollo Peru apart is their incredible selection of freshly made Aguas Frescas—mango, guava, and horchata are all refreshing and complement the savory dishes perfectly. Their desserts, like flan and tres leches, are a great way to end your meal.
Though we’ve moved and now frequent their Herndon location, the quality and flavor remain the same no matter which spot you choose. If you’re in the Reston area, this original location is a must-visit for authentic Peruvian comfort food. Highly recommend!

Restaurant is nice and clean and the menu is pretty simple. The staff is friendly and the food arrived quickly. As far as the food goes; it’s okay. The rice was very plain, no cilantro, onions, or peppers to spice it up. The chicken breast was slightly dry but the cilantro sauce it comes with is rather good so that made up for it. Overall not a bad place for a quick bite.

This is the worst place I have ever gone to buy some regular ordinary chicken, they ripping me off $10 for a chicken sandwich I’ll get that somewhere else for $4. This is outrageous, I’m never coming to that place again and for others who are new to the area be weary of the place. If you’re on a budget it’s not recommended especially for regular Peruvian chicken. This place is far beyond essential prices.

Service with an attitude at the cash register. The only thing that I enjoyed from my visit was Inca Cola. Everything else was ok not wow!
The absolute worst Black beans! Disgusting to be honest.

Consistently great food and service. The chicken is moist and flavorful, even better with the spicy sauce to dip and I love the fries with the mild sauce and don’t forget an Inca cola!
