The place wasn’t elegant but it was clean, the service was ok, the food was very good. From the ceviche to the picarones. On the negative side, their air conditioning was not working , so it was a little warm.

My family and I had dinner here this evening based on a recommendation from a friend. This restaurant was absolutely delicious and our server, Karina, was AWESOME. She took the time to explain everything on the menu and made several suggestions, that worked out very well for us. She let me practice my Spanish too, which was a bonus.

Food was great. Recommend their pollo a la brasa (grilled chicken). It was delicious and seems to be their specialty. They had a house made dressing on the salad, which was probably the best dressing we’ve had in years.
My daughter also had the spinach pasta, which was delicious as well.

The portions for everything were large and the service was GREAT. Authentic Peruvian atmosphere, not fancy, but very authentic and comfortable. Place is also bigger than it looks from the outside.

Service was quick as well which was a bonus cause my kids were really hungry!

We will be back.

Delicious!! The pollo a la brasa did not disappoint. As a Peruvian living in Atlanta I’m so happy to have found this spot.

I’m Peruvian, born and raised. From there I moved to Miami, which arguably has the best Peruvian food outside of Peru. I know when a place is going to be solid just from the pictures alone. Screw the reviews. I have lived in Atlanta for the last 3.5 years and couldn’t find a restaurant that tasted remotely like home. For the first time since moving to atlanta I found my Pollería de vecindario. We ordered half a pollo with fries and salad and a jalea mixta (fried seafood). We wanted to order the picarones too but it was a big portion and with a heavy heart, we left without them… this time . We drove 25 minutes from East Atlanta (albeit with no traffic) each way and plan to do so again regularly.

I’m a little confused as to the bad reviews for service. Karina, our server, was kind, friendly, prompt and attentive. Everyone working there was. I think people have to remember this is a pollería. It’s not an easy business to run. Be kind to the staff, they’re busy and trying. As a Peruvian to anyone in Atlanta who might be curious to try something new — do NOT sleep on this place. It’s seriously delicious.

Some things worth noting is they do not have a liquor license. Perhaps it’s worth calling ahead of time if they allow BYOB.

One of the BEST Peruvian places around Atlanta! The Leche De Tigre is phenomenal! and el pollo de brasa has great flavor and juicy. Our server has been Helber the past couple of times and he’s always been so friendly and helpful. a MUST TRY place. Oh and the yucca frita, soft on the inside and the right crunch on the outside. DE-VINE!

Best pollo a la brasa in Atlanta! Food came out very quickly and was delicious, traditional Peruvian flavor. We also had chicha morada delicious and refreshing. Our server was very kind, I told her we don’t live here and she shared her recipe for making pollo a la olla so that I don’t miss pollo a la brasa that much! Great experience and will be our go to every time we are in town.

It took a while to get our food, but it was worth the wait! The ceviche de pescado and alfajores (which were a great size) were really delicious! The portions were pretty large. We also got the jugo de maracuya and it was also really good! You can’t get passion fruit juice at most places so it was really nice to have it on the menu!

Not worth it, 2 small pieces of insipid chicken with very cold lettuce and fries $13.00. Is too expensive and on top of that they add 15% for service. Total of $15.86. Then they add another line for more tip on you check.
