We randomly came across this spot while passing through Haverhill and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did because we were not disappointed.
We ordered a variety of items to really get a sense of the quality, and everything was genuinely delicious. The empanadas were easily the best I’ve ever had. The outside was perfectly crisp yet soft, and the filling was juicy in the best way, flavorful without being greasy. Absolutely done right.
The grilled chicken was also excellent, tender and well seasoned. Honestly, everything we tried was just really good across the board.
The service was incredibly kind. They even gave us some fried sweet potato on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. Small gestures like that really stand out.
It was also the only place we could find nearby that was open at 10 a.m., and it ended up being a great choice. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular.

I had lunch yesterday, I ordered half grilled chicken, rice and beans and fried plantains, food was delicious and rapid service. Will certainly go back. Highly Recommended

We went to Pollo Centro in Haverhill on Sunday for lunch — myself, my son, and my girlfriend. Unfortunately, the food on the hot table was only lukewarm, not properly hot. Later that day, all three of us experienced significant stomach aches.
This was really disappointing, especially bringing my child there. I hope the management looks into their food temperature and safety procedures. I will also be contacting the Board of Health to make them aware of the situation.

Always a great meal from here. Pastelitos are always fresh. Sweet plantains are also delicious! Staff is very nice but sometimes service can be slow.
