This fried chicken is so good… It is incredible just to see this pollo Campero that is side by side with a KFC and pollo Campero is always full and the KFC is empty. That is the best indicador that good is this chicken. The sides selection is better than any other chicken restaurant.

Went there for the first time and the food was pretty damn tasty. Yucca fries were on point and the empanadas trio was a good first pick. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back to try more menu items. If you haven’t been then get over there. It’s far better than the Greasy bucket next store.

I had high hopes with overall good reviews of the food, but our first experience was very disappointing. We ordered a four piece comb and a kids’ meal drumstick with fries. We didn’t get asked about drinks for the order (confused and drove off thinking they didn’t come with drinks). The fries have no seasoning and tasted freezer burned. The rice was plain and not flavorful. We really came for the chicken, but for us, it was too greasy. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we are unlikely to visit again with so many other options on Robert Street.

I’m honestly relieved there aren’t other locations because this drive-through is a gem that probably wouldn’t be so easily replicated. The fried chicken was just as good as a cold breakfast the next morning. Mashed potatoes are great, and the rolls are also excellent. What shone through most for us was the chicken and the yuca fries. Located right next to a KFC, you get better, healthier, FAR more authentic food for less money that’s clearly made with a lot more love. I’ve recommended it to all people I know that tend to enjoy KFC and Popeye’s, and they’ve all agreed that this is an unbeatable spot that’s worth a drive from out of town. Horchata is excellent, no taste of faux cinnamon like in some other restaurants, genuinely tastes like a churro smoothie , it’s a great treat. We had an excellent and well-priced full date lunch that left us satisfied and eager to return.

We stopped by around lunch time on a Saturday. The dining area was spotless and it felt so clean in there. The service was fantastic even amid a lunch rush. One of the workers was constantly checking in on us to make sure he could make our experience as great as possible. We got empanadas and chicken with yuca. The food was hot and delicious. We will definitely be back again.

First time here. Dry, odd cut pieces of chicken that lacked flavor. Disappointed.

My food was delicious. I had rice, tortilla, and a 2 piece fried chicken meal. I added the cholula sauce to my rice as well as sour cream. The sauce was spicier than I expected but good. The price was good. The staff was nice. I will come back.

Nice to be able to enjoy an old time favourite. The Yuca fries (Cassava) were tasty and the plantain chips were on point!

Food was horrible. Greasy fried chicken, right down to the bone. Fries tasted weird. Beans seemed like they came from a jail chow hall. Cole slaw not good. Nothing was good. Spent 45 dollars on take out, threw 90% into the garbage bin. It was hard to toss that much food, but nobody wanted it. Experience too bad to give another chance. Menu was not up to date, either. Could not order combos on the menu. Had to piece items together because the person taking order said there isn’t a way for him to ring up the combo displayed on the menu.

Don’t know if I’ve made this review or not but whatever, about a month ago we had a severe communication breakdown involving money and DESPITE this the staff were incredibly understanding, helpful and sincere. We ended up settling it as timely and efficiently as possible, I feel quite shameful for how I acted towards them for how immediately they understood and resolved the situation with such compassion and sympathy and am immensely greatful. Damn good chicken too, better deals, quality, flavor than Popeyes or even the kfc next door, its a Mexican chicken place, but fast, order some mashed tates n gravy with a couple bread buns, the best chicken nuggets you can get out a window, and a god damn orchata, its fr nuts, love these guys.
