And you can order plantains!!!
My husband doesn’t liked bone-in chicken. He tried the empanadas. Loved them! (You get three, but he ate one.)
I’m really writing to shout out Helen. INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER CARE!! She walked away before I could tip her so I decided to give her a shout out.
I know this is a franchise location, but honestly it was so good. I never had fried chicken this good before. 10/10.
I took the chicken home to eat it with the red beans and rice. it was admittedly different chickens and our normal fried chicken side very good. delicious.
On today’s visit, I got the fried chicken, and the corn salad. Getting in as early as I did, around 10:30, the chicken was very fresh.
The fried chicken was juicy, and seasoned throughout. The whipped style batter left me wanting more. Similar to Kentucky Fried, original recipe, but much better, this chicken did not disappoint.
One thing I noticed immediately was that it was apparently fried in fresh grease. I know this sounds basic, but a lot of places don’t change their grease regularly, and you can tell it in the flavor of the chicken.
The corn salad was chilled. It had small chunks of light feta cheese. The light vinaigrette dressing put it all together.
Also seen was the grilled chicken, and the coleslaw. The grilled chicken was not overcooked, seasoned throughout, and moist. It was perfectly seasoned as well. The coleslaw seemed to be an authentic dish. It did not have a heavy mayonnaise flavor. I do not like coleslaw with a heavy mayonnaise flavor. This was more was like a thin sour cream style dressing.
