New to Pollo Campero, have to say the fried chicken is delicious. The staff is nice for the most part although a few of the staff have a hard time understanding english. To me that is what gives this place its charm. The price for a two piece lunch special + a soda is a good value. Table service is an added bonus. Can’t wait to go back!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent changes at Pollo Campero, particularly at the Boynton Beach, FL location. I used to be a loyal customer, visiting at least twice a week. Unfortunately, due to the drastic decline in quality and value, I now go once every two months—if at all.
Be aware, in South Florida, rice and beans are universally considered one side. However, the owner of the Boynton Beach (FL) location has chosen to combine them into a single container that was previously used for either rice or beans alone. This means customers are receiving significantly less food and the price has increased (so, away OVERPRICED). Before, we received both items separately, which felt fair and generous. Now, it feels stingy and misleading.
Please save your money and go some place else. I would suggest the LA BRASA GRILL or LA GRANJA. You’re going to eat better, and the RICE AND BEANS count as one and they come SEPARATELY as a FAIR portion, not this JOKE!!! I hope they run out of the business soon and let the place for other franchise.

Overall food is great but this location NEVER, and I mean NEVER, has their signature Campero sauce! Last time they told me it was only for the nuggets and that i couldn’t even pay extra for it, like what? You pay so much money for the food and you can’t even get the sauce you want to eat it with. Order more or make more sauces if shortage is the problem! Highly disappointed.
Edit: Went back today to give it another try and to my surprise not only did they give me the sauce but they gave me extra, no questions asked! Great job listening to customer’s reviews!

Pollo Campero has a unique taste, special flavor. Is not your typical fried chicken. The place is always welcoming and clean. The people who work there are always smiling and very attentive to help.
