I recently tried Pollo Campero and overall, the food was pretty good—definitely not your average fast food. The chicken had interesting, bold flavors that stood out from the typical fried chicken spots, and the sides had a nice Latin twist that gave the meal a little extra character.
That said, while the flavors were solid, it didn’t quite measure up to some other places I’ve tried in terms of overall satisfaction. The quality was decent, but not enough to justify the outrageous prices. I get that times are tough and they’re likely trying to cover overhead or save the lease, but charging that much really pushes it into “special occasion” territory—not your go-to meal stop.
If you’re curious and don’t mind spending a bit more, it’s worth a try. But for regular visits, there are other spots offering just as much flavor for a better price.

I was disappointed. I work near this one and I wanted to try it out. The manager took my order not friendly at all I even told her it was my first time I saw one price on the menu for a 3 piece which had a side no drinks are include the meal started at 10.80 the bill was over 16.85 the receipt did not show break down the dining table area was dirty the manager was discussing something with a un happy associate that was tell her he is leaving. I went to the bathroom was very dirty. I was appointed since it’s a new store in a great location out was beautiful inside it was not I left hungry the chicken was salty . I guess I won’t be eating again at pollo campero or will i recommend it to anyone

The lady taking the order was so nice, that made us feel really good to start…. it was our first time trying the food, and of course, ever going to a Pollo Campero!
We kept it simple and ordered 2 Chicken Breasts & 2 Wings, 2 orders of Rice & Black Beans, 1 order of Fries, and 2 Breads (and 2 fountain drinks, which they had Jamaica drink, and that was pretty cool)!
It was not bad at all!

Brand new location! I’ve always heard about this place but never had one close enough to try it. Today I finally did and it did not disappoint. The location is really nice and clean. Food was really good. The fried chicken has a nice flavor. Their compero beans tasted like chili which was really good. The breakfast empanada was ok but the sauce it came with was amazing! Overall I enjoyed it and will come back again to try other items on their menu.

The best 16 dollars I’ve ever spent.. service was amazing all employees all smiles and so welcoming… I highly recommend the campero bowl… what fast food place you know have real dishes and utensils when you dine in? CAMPERO !! I will definitely visit again

It’s a no for me. The seasoning on the chicken was still wet and overly seasoned, the rice n beans was ok. As a pollo lover my expectations on the taste of the food weren’t met. Don’t come here expecting pollo tropical type of taste. Stick to what you know. I for sure was disappointed

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. Upon entry, the restaurant was clean and the staff were pleasant. I order the roasted chicken with plantains. A+. The chicken was seasoned well and juicy. It was so good I had to express to the staff how pleased I was. I will definitely come back again.

Great place if you want to eat a delicious fried chicken with an outstanding service include. The staff has an excellent customer service including Aura who has a great touch with the customer. She was attentive and courteous. Food 5/5 service 5/5
