I was looking for a whole roasted chicken meal and I saw this food truck called Pollo Asado. Too bad they only accept cash. Who carries cash these days. Anyway, so, I have to go back and withdraw money. It was affordable but the wasn’t as flavorful as compared to other roasted chickens I have back in Dallas. But I gave them a 4/5.

This was the best food experience we had while on vacation in Santa Fe. My husband and I shared the $13.00 half chicken meal and found it adequately filling for the both of us. The chicken was absolutely delicious, as were the rice and beans that came with it. We did have to wait 20-25 minutes for chicken to be done, but it was 100% worth the wait. Cannot wait to come back here!

Best pollo tostadas I have had in a long time! Fresh made(be prepared to wait 15 mins) the chicken was juicy and flavorful. Fresh cheese and cream, fresh pico on top plus beans and rice and a grilled jalapeño on top! $10 and it was a perfect lunch for me and my husband! Follow the smoke to find this gem!

I love this chicken. Great place to run to for lunch time. I also order ahead on the weekend to eat with the family. When I lived alone I would order here and divide it for the week. A whole chicken with sides brings you to $23 bucks. The people here are friendly. Oh yeah, cash only! During Christmas they do close down for a few months. Call ahead so you don’t wait! If your looking a great place for to eat fast and healthy, look no further.

The smell alone is intoxicating! We finally stopped and tried this place, and it is very tasty.
The chicken had a lot of flavor and was moist (Yes, I used that word, it’s the best one for the job) and tender.
The staff was friendly and we got our order quickly.
It would be relatively easy to get in and out with a large vehicle or RV.

Stayed in Santa Fe for a couple of nights and really wanted some affordable delicious food and Pollo Asado was just that! For $20 we got the taco plate with 4 tacos beans and rice and a huge burrito. Food was DELICIOUS and fresh!! Also the hot sauce was bomb
