Stopped in for the goodies but saw the sandwiches and decided to give them a try. The muffaletta was perfectly balanced and very good. My husband heated it up in the microwave in the store and thoroughly enjoyed. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it also was very tasty. You can make those into sandwiches into meals that include chips and a drink for a very reasonable price. The folks were very friendly and answered all the questions we had. We enjoyed sitting down at the table and eating while watching the crowds come through. The STORE is wheelchair friendly, I was able to get my husband’s wheelchair in the store and around with no issues at all. Stop in and grab you a quick bite to eat or enjoy the sweets!!!!

I recommended this as a great place to purchase wonderful, quality, delicious tasting cakes! I personally have never bought 1 but have had them at social events a few times and they tend to stick out positively in my mind when bakery cakes are mentioned! Absolutely the best I’ve had in the Mobile area!

Their chocolate Dobash cake is the most exceptional cake I have ever tasted. I’m truly addicted to it. I’ve been around the world, and the thing that always brings me back to Mobile, Alabama is never being able to find a cake that matches this one. There is something truly unique about it. Which is why I’ve had it for every single Birthday and Christmas of my life, and probably will for every one until I die.

I was one of the first customers in the door today and was greeted by a great selection of breakfast pastries and a few ready-made sandwiches. I tried a bear claw, a blueberry danish, and a fried apple pie. All were sweet and fresh, but the fried pie was a little bit of a disappointment…more baked than fried and without those crispy edges a good fried pie has.

I needed a cake for my wife’s birthday and after a quick search online, I figured I would give Pollman’s a go. When I arrived, I noted that they had classic birthday cakes on hand that could be decorated with a message but I decided to go with the cookies and cream shown in the pics. The staff was courteous and attentive and I was in and out with the cake without issue. My wife and I enjoyed the cake, the frosting was creamy and delicious and the cake was moist. Recommended.

Ghetto! I miss the location on Oldshell/McGregor! Broad street location have their own rules that us customers who been dealing with the West Mobile location don’t know about. Pay first before we start the cake, McGregor never made us pay first. We always paid on the pickup date. I will be looking another bakery in Mobile! They deserve a half a star but it’s not available.

I am truly not sure why I still chose to eat from Pollman’s after all the filth that was revealed in the kitchen. I just pray they cleaned it up! I guess that almondine taste gets me! And those @%#$ blonde brownies!!! SmDarnh!

The only place that I always break my diet for. Everything is always good. My grandma lived a block away so I have been a fan since I could walk.
