Super delicious BBQ and wonderful service. One of my favorite BBQ sauces I’ve had so far in Memphis. The pulled pork sandwich bun was toasted nicely with a generous portion of meat. French fries were lacking a smidge in salt, but salt was available on the table for those that like a salty fry. The sausage link sandwich is a homemade link and was quite good, definitely recommend for those that like sausage! Would love to come back soon and try more on the menu like the rib tips and some more sides.

Came in not knowing much about them. Wonderful lady at the counter helped me order and did not steer me wrong. Got the Duo, with rib tips and spare ribs, got the mixed heat bbq sauce, potato salad and fries. It was all great, but especially loved the sauce and the ribs were cooked perfectly. The tips were a little chewy. The smoky flavor was exactly what you’d want and expect. The dining room could use a little refresh. But definitely check them out!

Very good bbq in a very nice restaurant. Not much to look at outside, but very nice inside. And the bbq sandwich is top of the line Memphis style. Meat falling off all the way around. Will fill up a big hangry person. Friendly staff. Will go there again.

Staff was very friendly. Good and prompt service. The atmosphere was very confusing. Nothing about it look like a BBQ restaurant. It wasn’t very inviting. I’m not sure when but apparently the restaurant had a makeover with food Network but the building hasn’t been kept up with. The restrooms weren’t very clean. I was disappointed with the food. The beans were so-so, potato salad was warm, I wanted a sausage link but they didn’t have any so they put a hot link on a bun and smothered it with barbecue sauce. I’m used to Texas BBQ and good juicy sliced brisket and was looking forward to a different version of Tennessee BBQ but did not expect a plate of dry chopped brisket with two cups of barbecue sauce covering it. There was so much barbecue sauce I couldn’t taste the meat. The nachos were cheap bad tortilla chips with Rico’s canned nacho cheese which is fine at a movie theater. Maybe the ribs are better I don’t know. There is so much hype Pollard being a Dallas cowboy I think that overshadowed the quality of the food.

My husband had the rib tip plate with okra and baked beans. I had the catfish with potato salad and baked beans. Everything was excellent! The fish was fried to perfection and so was the okra. And I really enjoyed the potato salad (I have high standards when it comes to potato salad and they passed). Customer service was superb and there was not a long wait for our food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a half slab of ribs with the spicy sauce and the sweet sauce. The ribs weren’t as smoky as I like, but they were meaty and the meat fell off the bone (in case you like it that way). Sauces were good. My wife loved her BBQ salad. Chicken wings were delicious, and the golden BBQ sauce was excellent. French fries were under-cooked and soggy.

When I came in last week, the young lady with the glasses. I think her name was JJ. She was the nicest person I ever met. Since the last time I came up there, she was very friendly and her customer service was excellent. The food was very good and my family will see Pollards BBQ again when we come back to Memphis during Elvis week.

Authentic smoked bbq sandwich. Full of flavor, tender, pull apart sandwich paired great with the house slaw and fries. Blue Kool Aid was perfectly sweet. Whole meal on point ✅ Could never be a Cowboys fan but definitely a Pollard fan! #20 Love the local support!
