Went here on „Pączki Day” 2026… it was quite nice that the restaurant opened at 3 AM. When I went around 9 AM there wasn’t much of a line. The pączki are very fresh and even hot when I picked them up. I guess the only complaint I could have is they only carry one flavor. It is like a mixed berry flavor. It is good, but would have preferred to have other flavors, especially the traditional rose flavor. But overall good.

If you have a single complaint about anything at polish paczki cafe from the service to food you aren’t someone who enjoys great grub you are a natural born whiner! In a city who’s culinary delights will leaving you smiling this place might have you grinning the widest from the home made fruit punch to piegories to paczki everything gets a A+! This is a review of just the paczki. I have bought paczki every year in this city on Paczki Day for the past decade, trying a variety of bakeries on the NW side. This year I discovered PPC and wow. I have never had such good ones. They remind me of pastries that my Romanian grandmother used to make and they are just absolute bliss. The dough is unlike any other I’ve tried around town, more pastry-like than bread-like. They only make one flavor, a plum/rose/raspberry, and it is AMAZING. I honestly no longer need all the other flavors, this is hands down incredible stuff. Thank you for your beautiful work, I know your team works very hard to make these for the community on this busy day!

I wanted to have an authentic polish experience with a friend and this place couldn’t be more authentic. From atmosphere to food to languages spoken, we felt like we were transported to another place. While the stuffed cabbage was our favorite, other food was good. We liked polish style goulash with pancakes, paczki (polish style donut) and rumbo (dessert with rum inside). Iced tea/fruit punch went well with all the food.
We witnessed a long line form often with people buying bakery items and food to go. While we were among many who dined it was nice to be part of a busy cafe while enjoying our food. The staff were nice people and I want to come back again. Soup of the day is on my list to try plus other pastries.

This is probably one of the best Polish restaurants around. I highly recommend the breaded chicken. It cuts with your fork. This shows the chicken is very tender.
There are a multitude of dessert entries that are all homemade. They come in a plastic container that you can buy.

I love this place! Everything I had was excellent. I’m not Polish but grew up with potato pancakes, and these were the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant, and I’ve tried various places over the years. The pierogi were fantastic: fresh and soft and flavorful. They have a fruit drink called kompot which is better than any fruit drink you can get. Natural and not too sweet. Even the latte was as good as what you can get at a regular cafe. I came here because a Polish guy told me that they have the best paczki, and those were delicious too. Fresh out of the oven, and I was told that these are traditional Polish style. Absolutely fantastic place, and I will come back even though I live downtown.

These Paczki are amazing. The donut is so fresh and flavorful. The staff that works here are very polish and offer great recommendations for other deserts to take home. Get a dozen cause they’ll go quick!
