I’m so excited they’re finally open! I went in with mom for opening day. The staff were welcoming and the place looks nice. I have Polish heritage and thus I’ve grown up eating Polish food all my life. The food was great. They start you with a couple dinner rolls with a little container of cubed paté, some butter, and a horseradish and cranberry jam.
As it was the first day, they were operating with a limited menu for the time being. We planned on ordering a few dishes to share. We ordered the potato pancakes, sauerkraut and mushroom pierogi (my favorite kind), kielbasa with sautéed onion and bacon, and a pork schnitzel (cutlet). The schnitzel came with a nice cabbage salad side and traditional Polish cucumber salad with dill (it’s called Mizeria), it’s nice, refreshing, and a great palate cleanser. For dessert we all received an Apple Szarlotka (apple pie -slab with crumb topping served hot). I loved the food and I’ll be back! It is authentic Polish, so much so that the owners were there and you can hear Polish being spoken.
While it is still a newer establishment and as such, there are always things that take time to work out. It is a bit chilly, just dress warm with an extra cardigan, sweater, or sweatshirt and you’ll be fine. Also, as all of the food is prepared fresh, it does take a good amount of time, please plan on spending a while here, it was worth it for me. I only mention it so you can plan your paid parking accordingly. I’m so glad they’re open and that we have another restaurant and small business to add value to our community. I wish them all the best and I encourage everyone to try it, reservations may be necessary going forward especially for later in the evening. I know I’ll be back soon.

Stopped in for lunch, an excellent addition to downtown dining. Great traditional fare, and portion/price ratio. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.

According to the dictionary, a real bistro “offers affordable, hearty ethnic dishes in a casual atmosphere.” The Polish Bistro is the real thing, warm decor, very cozy. Food was piping hot and so much flavor! Waitstaff was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try the goulash!

We just bought full meals for four adults and two small children (take out). Everything was superb! We are visiting relatives, who live near Binghamton, and all I can say is that I wish we had a Polish restaurant as good as this near my home town in NewJersey! I had the “Binghamton platter”, and every bite was scrumptious!

Lovely little bistro! Went in for a late lunch today and it was spectacular. We ordered the potato pancakes and the Binghamton platter and it was all delicious! Great portion sizes too. We will definitely be back with friends!

Wonderful, authentic polish food. Restaurant atmosphere beautiful, service perfect, food amazing. It’s hidden, but its worth finding. Binghamton parking is never easy but its worth it.
