super friendly bartender, Carey was amazing!!! very creative cocktails, and great conversation, very knowledgeable about the history of the business here. the food was good, wish there were tacos on this side and more Mexican options other than the Mexican steak. otherwise I had a great time. would love to come back and see Carey again!!

Michelle is a wonderful manager and bartender. We stop here every chance we get on our way from NY to Florida.and Michelle is the most amazing person to come see here. Yes, the food and atmosphere are great and Michelle is the #1 reason we come here! She is so sweet and down to earth

I did not expect this place at Pedro’s, but here it is. We stayed at the RV park and stopped in. People and bartender were friendly. I had the rueban and wife had the bloody margarita. Brand new cushy bar seats. We never travel this part of the country, but may be back someday.

The newest place to dine at South Of The Border, and a comfortable one at that! Along with a very luxurious atmosphere and seating options, this place isn’t just for alcohol, as the full menu for the Sombrero Restaurant is accessible here as well!
This makes sense, seeing as how the bar is in the same building, so it’s great to know that you can get a full meal here too!

Carey and Michelle were so welcoming and friendly- I am a single woman traveling on my own and they made me feel like part of the family- they made sure I got back to my room safe and were also so kind to my service dog! They insisted he could sit with me and gave him water and fawned over him all night! I highly recommend this place for anyone on their own (especially the ladies) as well any weary travelers!

I’m only leaving a 1 star review because they automatically charge you a 18% tip and don’t tell you about it unless you look at your bill and question it.
I did service for a long time and I don’t mind tipping, my average is 25% but I’m not going to give 25% on top of 18%.

My husband and I found this place in pure accident a few years ago when you first opened. When we came through the area this weekend we stopped in only because we knew it was here. We were met by Carey’s smiling face and beautiful personality. She made us feel so welcomed and like family. She is a WONDERFUL ASSET to this establishment.
One thing I would HIGHLY recommend, is get some advertising exposure in your billboards. No one knows your here and you’re missing out on great potential business plus
keeping your staff successfully employed. As a business owner ourselves, my husband and I would hire Carey in a heartbeat if we were in this area! Come visit Carey, you will not be disappointed.
