This place was pretty good. A lil more pricey then what Im used to paying for a poke bowl. The employees were friendly seem to like their job. Good variety of selection to choose for your bowl. Was about 20 bucks for my bowl and a musubi. They have like a garlic sauce with sesame seed underneath the musubi which was very tasty. I definitely come back everything was nice and fresh.

I’m not sure what’s been going on with Pokeworks, but I’ve been a loyal customer for years and went to the Cedar Bluff location multiple times a week before they shut down that location. Because of that, I’ve been coming to the Bearden location and the quality of Pokeworks has gone down significantly in the last few months.
The portions are significantly smaller, and the food quality isn’t as good. During my visit today, I picked up a to go order and the salmon tased off and the mango was left in massive chunks. I was given only two or three mango chunks in my bowl. The girl scooping was only giving me half a scoop of corn, edamame, ect, and I had to ask for more. I was also not given a full scoop of avocado, which I paid extra for. The portions of rice in the bowls are also noticeably smaller, and tonight, the brown rice had several hard pieces of rice.
I’m not sure what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe they changed distributors or owners/management, but things have changed and there is a noticeable difference in food quality and portions (and based on recent reviews, I’m not the only one who feels this way). Pokeworks is one of my favorite restaurants, so I’m hoping things improve.
Side note: your hours of operation are also confusing. I tried to go on Monday Jan 19th around 5:00, but you all were closed.

I can see this Pokeworks is under new ownership and once a family customer I loved coming here with my kids but to see things have changed the food the environment I’m so close to protesting for someone to change who ever is running this place to leave I want the good food that once tasted fresh again now I feel like I’m eat expired fish and fruit-cup fruit in my bowl. I’m a retired food inspector and I smell something off here. I’ve been listening to my people that used to eat here and now have left I do not like that this lady told me to go eat at her restaurant nexts door instead of the place I was at. Tell me is that really okay to send your loyal customers to another restaurant… I feel this unprofessional tell me Pokeworks will this keep going on?

Hi! I have the app and I ordered for delivery. The portions ( for me) last me a couple of days which is very economical. Also, save room for a rice krispy treat!!

My first time here- husband’s second time. Food was delicious and refreshing, made exactly to our specifications. Staff was attentive and friendly. The start of the line at the rear of the store counter was counterintuitive (pun intended), but impeccably clean. My drink (Tractor certified organic coconut and blood orange sodas mixed with handcrafted blackberry mojito) was off the chain!

I come to this poke place at least once a week, and it’s always such a great experience! The same two girls are here every time, and they never fail to greet me with the biggest smiles. One is a darker-skinned young lady and the other is a blonde headed girl — both of them are absolutely amazing! You can tell they work hard every single day, yet they’re always kind, friendly, and make you feel so welcome. The food is always perfect, but their positive energy is what really makes this place stand out. They definitely deserve some recognition for how great they are! I always look forward to coming in and seeing them each week. I think they are the best employees at that location. i wish i would’ve gotten names.

So I used to love this restaurant. I would order takeout from them all the time via DoorDash. But they’ve made mistakes with my order so many times in a row now that I’m not gonna order from them anymore. Tonight they forgot To put in the two garlic spam musubi, the last time I ordered, which was a few weeks ago they gave me A large tablespoon of seaweed salad that barely covered the bottom of the bowl. Before that, they charge me for seaweed salad, but gave me the other kind twice in a row. And the poke bowl itself used to be large, but I paid $21 tonight for a three item bowl with extra shrimp that’s barely half full. They weren’t always like this, it’s just in the last few months.

I’m not sure what’s happening but they’ve definitely gone downhill since the last time I’ve been there. Having no cream cheese is a major no no with sushi/ poké. Some of the drinks that were there before, aren’t anymore. Also, the fish was extremely poor quality. It was honestly gross and sent my 3 year old running to the bathroom. The Pokéworks chain is one of my favorite places to eat but with the changes, and price point, I won’t be back to this location. Such a bummer!

I go here one a week and ordered a online pick up order and there was barley any food. i picked up the bag and could feel an immediate difference. Let alone there only being 3 pieces of sushi. Would never recommend going to this specific location.
