I’ve been to pokeworks a few times and they were great! Until it was not… today I found a long piece of hair in the food. Sure, no big deal. Accidents happen. But what was disappointing was the customer service. I drove back to the store after I found the hair to let them know about it and the owner did not acknowledge or apologize. He just entered the refund. It was near the end when the refund was entered the employee apologized for the incident. But nada from the owner. He was unfazed. Maybe this happens often? lol

Owner is super skimpy on literally every ingredient. The bowls can fit so much and he puts like one cube of fish, a slice of cucumber, and one sesame seed. Absolutely ridiculous. For a place that charges ~$20 per bowl, they should be giving twice the food. Any sane person wouldn’t pay more than $5 for this. Probably cheaper to buy the ingredients at stop and shop and then make it yourself.

My son will only eat his pokebowls from here. The food seems to always be fresh, and the service is quick, however the staff really could use a little pick me up. Nobody loves waiting on customers, but we are paying! It pays to be nice. Price is pretty accurate for the amount of fresh fish you are getting etc. 17$ is a reasonable price, especially in the heart of Westport
