Wow!! First time ever having a Poke bowl, first time ever being here. The customer service I received was some of the best I’ve ever received. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything, and answering all of my questions. Not only was the food super delicious but the service was top notch. Definitely will be coming back here

I truly enjoyed my poke bowl at Pokedoke, the fish was fresh, the ingredients were flavorful, and everything tasted really well balanced. The outdoor seating was also lovely; it’s such a nice spot to sit outside and enjoy a meal in Kirkwood.

However, one thing that took away from the experience a bit was the plastic bowl. I completely understand that takeout and convenience are a big part of how poke places operate, but eating out of plastic just changes the whole experience for me. A reusable or more eco-friendly serving option for dine-in guests would make it feel so much more special.

Overall, I’d definitely come back for the food, I just hope they consider a small change that could make the experience even better!

High quality food, very clean, great local ownership & the service was really fast and attentive. I got the volcano bowl and the textures and flavors were perfect.

On top of all that, the prices are superrrr reasonable- 10/10 recommend.

This is a great Poke spot located in Downtown Kirkwood! We had never been in, and were craving something a bit more light than pizza, or burgers, or tacos. PokeDoke is located in a prime spot, we were shocked we’d never tried it before. The interior is modern and spacious.

The staff were so friendly. The guy who checked us out was so kind and informative. Everything we tried was so good. The Blueberry Boba Milk Tea was sweet and the boba pearls were soft and chewy. We also got Gyoza for an appetizer and 2 Poke bowls.

The Gyoza were crispy and the sauce was tangy. Both of our poke bowls were insanely delicious. My Mom got one with chicken and spring mix, and she said it was so refreshing. My bowl had spicy tuna and ahi tuna with a delicious teriyaki mayo which added a touch of sweetness. The raw fish was pink and fresh.

We will be back. Yes, it’s pricey, but I haven’t had poke this high quality for years. More options than Koibito Poke, but they don’t make it in front of you here.

I lived in San Diego/Oceanside for the the last 5 years and was really missing poke when we moved back to the Midwest. I thought I’d never find anything close to the infamous Poki Poki chain but oh wow…. Is this definitely a killer dupe. It’s expensive but worth the price 100x over and it’s now my go to spot when we visit the city. Everything was FRESH and absolutely mouth watering. I only miss scallops as a protein option but oh my… worth it!!! We did come in during the last hour when the restaurant was mostly cleaned and ready for the next day but the staff was friendly.

I want to sincerely thank you and your team for the care you took in handling my food allergies during my recent visit. This restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies, ensuring I could enjoy my meal with complete peace of mind. From the moment I mentioned my dietary restrictions, every staff member was attentive, reassuring, and proactive in making sure my meal was both safe and delicious. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, the service was seamless, and the food was outstanding. Truly a place that cares about both the dining experience and the well-being of their guests. A genuine combination of exceptional service, hospitality, and fantastic food made the experience one I will remember and happily share with others.

The meal I enjoyed during my visit was a regular size bowl with soba noodles, sesame oil, spicy crab, chicken, cucumber, no poke sauce (soy allergies), mango/pineapple, corn, and avocado. It was my version of a perfect allergen free Hawaiian Poke Bowl!

The bowls were fresh, but I was disappointed they were out of a lot of menu items. The pokedoke bowl was tasty but definitely would have been better with the seaweed they were out of. Overall it’s a nice change from the usual things you will find in the area. They have outdoor seating too. Parking on the street next to the place is a little hectic with everyone living in the buildings around there.

Sucks! Sucks! SUCKS!
This is one of those Poke shops that gives Poke shops a bad name. I feel like one of these pops up which will be here one day and gone the next while existing only to fill ubereats orders until the game is up and they shut down without letting staff know.
The restaurant if absolutely lifeless and smells like a pizza shop more than freshness and vibrancy of Poke. The service is lifeless and stale. The cost for 2 people to eat is just under $40.00 before tipping. I never once saw anyone wash hands, sanitize or do basic sanitary functions between orders. It was like watching school lunch ladies slopping scoops of mush on a conveyer belt.
Poke was fine but completely void of effort made with mushy rice and near frozen vegetables.
Now comes the worst part of our visit; a massive hair right in the middle of our plate. Thank goodness the long haired employees weren’t wearing hairnets and had freedom to scratch their head on top of our food.
Its an absolute bust. Why bother eating here again?

Definitely would not recommend. I ordered taro milk tea and an order of mochi. We were the only customers in the restaurant and after close to 10 minutes went up to the counter to see where my order was and they look at me confused and asked if I was picking up. After finally getting our order the taro boba tea tasted spoiled and the mochi were pretty bad.
