Bright counter-serve joint doling out Hawaiian-style poke bowls with a variety of toppings.

This is my favorite Poke City location. It’s a great place to dine, and the staff is kind, patient, and helpful. Heads up, every poke bowl comes with a cup of miso soup, which is a nice bonus.
It’s a great fast-casual option. The bowls are fully customizable, but they also offer curated bowls if you want something easy. I’ll definitely be back!

This is one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had because their sauces are amazing. It’s also a lovely place to dine in because the vibes are *immaculate.* With most fast fresh spots, you walk in and are hit with a cold blast of overly aggressive AC and the sound of Benson Boone or the like blaring through the speakers; a lifeless and antiseptic experience where you are happy to take your fresh food and leave as fast as you can. Not so with PokeCity! Maybe *hygge fresh* is a more apt name. The staff is kind, patient, helpful – going down the line of poke options feels something like being a kid in an umami candy store. Plus, a bow comes with miso soup. You quickly forget about the cold, harsh reality that awaits you outside because the temperature of the restaurant is set to something comfortably not too warm or too cold, it’s homey. Soft jazz at a reasonable volume adds to the coziness, and, perhaps PokeCity’s biggest crowning achievement, their faux grass astroturf floors. It strikes the perfect medium between bare, hard floors that would feel sterile, and carpeted floors that would feel questionably unsanitary for so much foot traffic. The creators of Meow Wolf would be impressed, I think, by the subtle whimsy. You feel both indoors and out, both cozy and yet still clean. The islands are calling. Well played, PokeCity, very well played.

This is my new favorite poke place. Incredibly clean, incredibly cold, fish and ingredients and very nice staff. Also very cool atmosphere with some cool high top tables.
I’ve been back here 4x since my original post and it’s my fave. The cleanest place to eat. They take cleanliness super seriously.

Overall a great place. Came in at opening, everything was really fresh. The server was good, just a little lack luster, not super friendly or welcoming or anything. The House bowl was really good and I liked that it came with a bowl of soup! I would definitely come back again! The decor is trendy and cute.

Top Tier poke bowl. It’s my go-to when I’m not feeling great. Tried and true at least 20x. So many tasty ingredients. Truly made with love and you can tell! Thank you so much for being here <3

Poke City has gone way downhill. This used to be my regular spot when I worked on CO Blvd but now the prices have increased (I guess to be expected) but the quality is way downhill. The fish was slimy and unappealing, most of the toppings seemed like they were previously frozen. Also, the guy behind the counter seemed rushed and frustrated even though I was the only person in line.
Final nail in the coffin is that there’s an obscene amount of plastic plants here. Even the floor is astro-turf. Gross.
If you’re a fan $20 mediocre poke bowls and green plastic, this place is for you.

I mean the food is good, the portion sizes not so much. You’re gonna pay around $20 for a bowl that’s a lot of rice. Prob find a diff poke spot next time

While the place is well decorated, with lots of AstroTurf, plastic plants, lighting and phone charging cables.. the food is horrible on many levels!
In my opinion, lots of sauce is necessary to mask the very small servings of low quality fish (I had the yellow tail, salmon, and spicy tuna). In addition, the brown rice is either very old, treated with vinegar, or both. The seaweed salad is just bad. Some of the mango is to soft and slimy. The miso soup is barely edible when warm, and foul when cold. This is the only poke meal that I couldn’t finish in years!
The glass separating the customers from the food while choosing the ingredients only protects the food from the shortest of people. Any sneeze, cough, or breath goes directly onto the food awaiting your selection. Gross!
To top it all off, the price point vs serving size of fish is higher than other poke places in nicer neighborhoods in Denver.
On the bright side, the guy preparing the bowl today was friendly, helpful, and practiced good food safety techniques (gloved hands, separate scoops for the ingredients, and covering the ingredients when there were no customers for a while)
With so much attention to detail having gone into creating a nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal, I feel bad leaving a two star review, but it honestly deserves just one.

Literally the best poke I’ve ever had. And the options they had were amazing and they had a TON. The fish was some of the best sushi grade fish I’ve seen anywhere in Denver. And you can choose the spices and what they put on it. Everything is totally customizable. I just about cried when I saw the options, because I’ve had stomach issues and been reduced to eating pretty much nothing and I could eat everything here as long as I got it with out sauce or spice. (which they have a ton of different sauces you can choose from AND they let you mix and match.) Any who, been raving about this place to anyone who will listen. It is amazing fast casual food and I would definitely recommend it. And the atmosphere is super cute and trendy and the floors are fake grass which is awesome and I’ve never seen anything like that in a restaurant. Also, rarely ever do I write reviews unless it totally blows me away, and trust me when I say this did just that and more. Sorry my pictures aren’t the greatest, I was anxious to eat!!!

Greeted immediately, well lit, bright fun atmosphere. After asking a few questions, we were ready to order. Pick base, proteins, toppings, sauce, and finishes. Really enjoyed the food. Had a medium and large. Comes with bowl of miso soup. Will definitely go again.
