This is my first time trying Poké the Bear and…I will be coming back for more ! I decided to make my own poke bowl and the amount of fish they provided into the bowl surprised me. They did not skimp out on the fish that was provided. The fish was also very fresh and the cuts of the protein were excellent. The menu had various options to choose from and was friendly to those with dietary restrictions. The menu also provided images of the pre-made bowls which was helpful in deciding which bowl to choose. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and bright. The place also is cute and displays various artworks (very charming). The staff is extremely kind and are gracious to customers.

Tried this place for the first time last week and have been back twice since then! I’m so glad I tried it. I’ve had spicy ramen soup with added toppings, the chicken teriyaki bowl and a mango smoothie. Everything is delicious and the perfect portions. I will be back 100% and I would definitely recommend stopping by! ❤️

I ordered takeout at the restaurant. I can’t have gluten and they pointed me in the direction of the sauce I could have. I made the DIY poke bowl with the one sauce and it was delicious!
I also ordered their berries smoothie and truly enjoyed it! They use fresh berries, not from concentrate or a carton. Highly recommend! A third was gone by the time I made it home and took a picture.

I’ve always ignored the shop sandwiched between Cousins and 7-11 but on impulse I stopped in to order. I made my own bowl and selected the lemon soy dressing. The food was great and that dressing is incredible. I highly recommend it. The portion was on the large side and filling. We ordered the tater tots and the shrimp and broccoli dumplings. I am a fan of the side dish options, they were good. I will probably order here instead of Poke Crew in Closter. This is better quality and slightly less expensive.

I am writing to formally report a very concerning experience with a recent order at POKE+ the+ Bear

that included a
Fozze the Bear poke and
a beef bulgogi bowl.
First, the tuna in the poke bowl did not smell right, and we did not feel it was safe to eat. In addition, the beef bulgogi was extremely salty, to the point that my mother was unable to eat it.
I called the restaurant immediately to report these issues. Unfortunately, the staff member who answered the phone argued with me and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the food. I offered for someone to come and verify the condition of the dishes, but this was refused. During the conversation, the staff member began yelling and speaking in an unprofessional manner. I requested a refund, but she said she could only refund one item and continued to raise her voice before hanging up.
When I called back, another staff member answered and behaved in a similarly unprofessional way, yelling and not allowing me to explain the situation. I again requested a refund and offered for the restaurant to pick up the uneaten food, but this was refused.
I am very disappointed both with the food quality and the way this situation was handled. I am requesting a full refund for both dishes and would appreciate a response regarding how this matter will be resolved.

Surprised by the quality of the food, it doesn’t taste like a generic chain store food. Most Poke Bowl places skimp on ingredients, but they have enough that it feels like an actual full size meal. Been trying out different bowls and have been happy with all of them so far.

I have come here often for lunch when I want something quick and healthy. The food is consistently high quality with fresh crunchy vegetables, and perfectly cooked rice. Building your own is a bit daunting, but the menu options are good and the portion size is filling.

I ordered takeout and tried two of their poke bowls, Yoge the bear and Poke the bear. Both were delicious, fresh, and filling. I also tried the peach smoothie which was likewise very tasty and refreshing – the right balance of sweetness. Will definitely be back to try more of their dishes!
