To be honest i wanted to love it. Seems like a mom and pop place which is fine. I walked in and the 2 people working were sitting down. I went at 4pm so not a peak lunch time or anything. All the ingredients were covered in plastic which is good. Just didn’t feel like the freshest fish I’ve had for poke. And the prices definitely went up. I paid 16.99 +tax for a medium. Not 11.99. Was a great amount of food and you get a free miso soup. Not bad,but not great

Tasty food, AMAZING serving sizes for the price, the highly-coveted “unlimited toppings”, and up until tonight— wonderful staff. However, this evening we had a horrifying experience!!
I jumped into the car as soon as my friend made it over from hollywood and we rushed to make it before closing time, arriving at 8:45pm with 15 minutes to spare. As soon as we walked in we were met with a curt attitude from the young woman behind the counter asking us to “make this quick”. Well, we come here quite often and order the same thing every time… we can’t possibly order faster. But in her unduly extreme sense of urgency, she rushed through our orders and COMPLETELY messed mine up. I asked for a mix of sauces with “just a TINY bit of eel sauce.” And she doused it. There’s no recovery once the sauce is on there. And of course I felt so pressured by her behavior that I didn’t ask for it to be redone (huge regret). I was shocked and commented on the mistake, but she just asked if I wanted any dry toppings. I said “No it’s fine” because I was afraid to interact with the uncomfortable haste, but now there’s about 52 grams of corn syrup my “salad-based” bowl is swimming in.
I’m disgusted, disappointment, and out $17 for a meal I don’t want to touch. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I’m shocked that she in any way feels it was acceptable or appropriate to treat us that way. If this were my first time there I would give it one star and never come back. But like I said, we come often and have openly appreciated the staff other times… so, 3 stars for them.

I’ve been looking for a poke place and happened to find this little place. Went there once and the gentleman was very nice and helpful in the selection. My husband and I tried it at home and it was spectacular! Came back today and they were so generous in the quantity. I could say the best poke place I’ve eaten! If only I could afford eating at this place everyday, I would!

Clean environment, reasonable prices, large portions (poke bowl), friendly & professional owners! Haven’t even begun to describe the food, which is AMAZING! Very good quality. I’ve only ever gotten poke bowls but I need to try the sushi soon. 5 stars all across the board!!! BTW, they close at 8:30pm not 9pm. I came at about 8:25pm thinking they were open until 9pm and they served me with a smile!! Add this place into your take out rotation, you don’t want to miss out!

We really like the guy serving up the poke. He’s helpful and generous. Most importantly, he makes a darn good box of fish salad. Parking can be tight, but we always find a spot. There are a few chairs for waiting, but the food is take-out only. I was warned about the heat of the habanero sauce, and I loved it.

Went to get a poke bowl for lunch. The gentleman served a generous amount of everything. They have been in business over 10 years and after eating all of it, I can see why they have been in business for so long.
