BEST poke I’ve ever had in my life. I eat A LOT of poke, and none compares to the stuff I get here at Poke Loa. So much so that I’ve developed an addiction, one may say, to Poke Loa over the past four years. I’m probably biased, but the bowl that I always get is the absolute best! It has the best flavor and I’ve always found all of the ingredients to be super fresh. Here’s what I get: White rice, spring mix, salmon, spicy salmon, cilantro, cucumbers, tamari, sesame oil, chili oil, crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame. red roe (or all of the tobiko they have that day), lemon miso aioli, and sesame seeds. I’m not exaggerating when I say this bowl is life changing. Try it out!

Honestly if you compare this poke place to the other poke place on magazine, this one is much better and they don’t skimp on food. However, they ask for tip for to go orders? Who am I tipping? Myself?

My last visit in August 2022 was with the expectation of enjoying a satisfying meal and utilizing my membership benefits to earn points. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing due to the manager’s (Spanish looking guy) refusal to use my membership login to accumulate points. He entered my phone number incorrectly and that’s how he couldn’t find my account. I asked him to try again. He got mad and made a comment that I’m looking for a free meal. Despite my polite request to utilize my membership for points accrual, the manager outright refused, providing no valid explanation for their decision. This lack of customer service and unwillingness to honor their own loyalty program left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a patron.

Great food. Definitely filling. 1 star off for the drinks being pretty nasty that I’ve tried so far. Another star for the price being too high to eat there often.

I went to the uptown location. I had not been there in a few years but it was the 1st one I had ever been to and I was very impressed then! But I returned on this past Saturday and let me tell you ot is FAR different from the last time I was there. The guy on duty (older) was very standoff is, the proteins looked old and dried out, the greens were wilted and they have a new payment system were you can checkin so you can use points if you want…he didn’t even ask me if I wanted to use points nor did he even mention that there was a new system. Its unfortunate that I ordered ahead so I didn’t see my bowl until I opened it! But I will not be going back to that location EVER! Girod and Old Metairie from now on.

Yum yum yum. So fresh, so good, i love this place! And it’s cool to sit at the window or outside and people watch on Magazine street, too.

I love this place personally. The food was so good and healthy, the staff very friendly. I recommend the salmon bowl and fruit waters were refreshing

Delicious poke bowls! Lots of protein and topping choices (especially the macadamia nuts for a crunchy topping.) Cute modern interior and outdoor seating too.

Maybe best poke I’ve ever had. Healthy, without wasteful disposables. No line. Could eat here every day.

I wasn’t crazy impressed. I’ve definitely had better poke before but what was good was their seaweed topping. The meat seemed fresh but I wish it came with more meat. There staff was friendly and they had good lemon cucumber water.
