I paid $17 for this regular bowl. I can’t finish it and toss to the trash. The salmon’s tastes weird and it’s not fresh at all( the salmon is in brown color instead orange). I had to throw away after tried the salmon, the edamame also not fresh, plus the taste in general is very bad, toooo spicy. This is not the right way to do business for your customers. I won’t come back for sure.

The food is delicious and uses fresh ingredients. I had sushi and a large poke bowl and both were great. This shop is cute, ordering was very easy, and it’s nice to support a small business like this.

I got delivery. My Philadelphia roll had no salmon, just cucumber and cream cheese. Are you kidding me? My poke also had almost no fish in it.

Tasty food for fair prices.

This to-go only restaurant has fairly priced items on the menu. You can order for pickup online or order with an employee in-person. There is no seating, but you find that after a short walk to Merced Heights park, somewhere in ParkMerced, or SFSU. There are no restrooms either, but one of the nearby businesses probably has a restroom for customers.

I ordered a Regular Poke Bowl with a bunch of toppings. I also ordered masago, which cost 50¢ extra. The only topping that was missing from my order was carrot. My total after tax was $14.65. The bowl and a branded utensils packet were in a light blue bag with some cartoon drawings of food. The bowl was filled up and the packet had chopsticks, a spork, and a thin little napkin. The food was exactly as I expected, except a bit spicier. It was a good amount of food for the price.

I thought the location was convenient, lots of parking. The inside area to sit was clean and pleasant. Staff were friendly.

I thought the poke was on the more expensive side for what you get. There was a disappointing amount of protein and too much rice. Definitely scrapping a little bit too much off the top for the price.

Food itself tasted OK.

I used to come to Poke Kana more often when they still had the menus you could write on to order. It seems like they now offer much less protein at the same price as before. I ordered a regular size bowl with salmon and only received 6 pieces of salmon, so small that they cooked through from the heat of the rice on the 5 minute drive home. Although Poke Bowl in Stonestown and Ocean Blvd were always cheaper, I preferred the quality of Poke Kana, but that’s no longer the case.

I didn’t like it. I’m giving three stars because I was able to finish half the bowl. I think if it fits your tastes, it’ll be good. My partner thought his bowl was fine.

Had the regular poke bowl and it was not good at all. Extremely salty and had almost no salmon and tuna at all. It was also oddly hot inside which is worrisome when you are getting raw fish from the place but the stuff seemed fridgerated in the back. The rice was watery and the person did tell me they were making another pot of rice so it will take longer but they undercooked the rice because of this.

Ownership and management has changed. Food is extremely poor quality now and lots of corners are being cut. Do not waste your money, it’s almost $20 for a bowl now and the ingredients are not fresh.

I come here often, easy to order over the phone for pick up. Tried their sushi that they added to the menu and it was yummy. Always get their poke bowls!
