Pizza Paradise in Poipu!

If you’re in Poipu Beach, do yourself a favor and head straight to Poipu Pizza. My husband and I stumbled upon this gem, and I’m so glad we did!
We ordered a half-and-half pizza to keep everyone happy – He got his pineapple and sausage (yes, he’s one of those people), and I went with the Ortalana since I’m all about the veggie life.
Here’s the thing: I literally inhaled my half before I even realized what happened. One minute the pizza arrived at our table, the next minute I looked down and my side was completely gone. That’s how good it was.
The ambience is exactly what you want after a day of hiking and exploring Kauaʻi – relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly casual.
Our waiter was absolutely wonderful – so friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
You can tell they genuinely care about making sure you have a great experience.
And let’s talk about the price – super reasonable, especially for the quality and portion size you’re getting. This is the kind of place where you leave happy, full, and not wincing at the bill.
Highly recommend Poipu Pizza whether you’re a local or just visiting the island. We’ll definitely be back before our vacation ends!

Visiting the island and felt the need for a pizza…place had mixed reviews but after having our pizza it was easy to see how unfair some of the lower star reviews were. Our pizza was absolutely amazing, the gal who served us was friendly and polite. A nice dinner experience. If you like pizza…this is the place to go!

Poipu pizza is delicious baked pizza with thick crust and the perfect amount of sauce. It’s nicely sized for a family of 3-4. The staff was friendly and quick with their service. It’s located in the back of the shopping area so lots to see when you’re all finished!

Food: The Caesar salad was good. The pizza was a step above Costco pizza. It was covered in oil and the dough was a softer than I’d like.
Service: Not good. The pizza took a really long time. I understand that there is a full restaurant attached but on the pizza shop side I was one of two tables. Additionally, while I still had food in my hand I was given a check and told a box would be provided for the rest of my food.
Atmosphwre: The blinds are both dirty and broken. My wife and I both had to ask for new glasses because the first ones were dirty. It really made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant.

This pizza arrived looking like it had lost a fight with a space heater and then been left to reflect on its life choices. The crust was somehow both burnt and floppy, a texture I did not know was possible outside of modern architecture failures. Would have been nice if they weren’t reselling old stale Costco pizza. Try, a little? (Also, when you call they say use the app for delivery, but the app doesn’t allow delivery)

Walked in to a friendly welcome. Could tell a very high quality pizza from another just serviced pizza. Ordered two Stella’s served with chilled glasses! and ordered the Bomb pizza. Excellent. Tastes like Italy!

I thought something was off when my water glass was sticky and I felt like I was crunching on some sand… seems well and good for an island pizza joint right? WRONG. It was broken glass in an unwashed cup. All of the 12” pizzas are $32-$36 aka $100+ if 2-3 people want to truly eat. The cuts in your esophagus, stomach and colon are included at no additional cost.
AVOID this place if you value your life more than overpriced empty calories.

This pizza is great! Wood fired deliciousness. We dined in; it was casual but great, friendly service and the pizza was quick. The kid’s cheese pizza was huge! We grabbed another pie as takeout for an easy dinner in before we left. Had to leave a great review to bump their average up; it’s really good pizza!

We went here because we had been here before when we were able to sit in the ‘open air’ section and listen to music. However we were told that the open air section and music area is limited to the Isola Cucina Italian menu only. We needed to go to the smaller area designated for the pizza menu.
The blinds were closed, the fans were off (which we had to ask to be turned on) and besides the menus, every other indication was that this PoiPu Pizza area was simply the designated area for those people coming to Isola Cucina to eat pizza (the second class customers). All wait staff wore shirts saying Isola Cucina.
And the pizza was average, not even that good. Next time we’re going back to Kauai Brewing that has lovely atmosphere and great pizza.

The food here is fine- for a family of 3, we had a salad and 2 pizzas, 2 beers, and a lemonade and it was over $100, so pretty expensive for a basic pizza night. I know most food on the island is expensive but this seemed pretty over priced for basic pizza. We did have leftover pizza which we ate for lunch the next day.
