We went here this evening for dinner. 2 Gramma’s with some of our Grandchildren. They were super busy when we first got there. They immediately seated us and got us drinks and appetizer for the table. We ordered the Onion Rangs. They were delicious . Everyone got the Fried Chicken and I got the Chicken and Dumplins. I believe that they are the Best. I also got a biscuit. It was so good. It was dripping with butter. If we weren’t already full, we ordered dessert. 2 Mississippi Mud Pies, a Strawberry Shortcake and a Po Sundae. Jessica and some of these others in the picture, took care of us. Thank you to each and everyone of you for such a fun dinner. We left from there stuffed. ♥️

The employees were what made this place fun! Food was served quickly, hot, and very tasty. We shared catfish, and pork chop w shrimp dinners. Sides of red beans w rice, cornbread, green beans, baked potato, and baked apples were all delicious. Affordable family restaurant. It’s interior design is tired but we had fun reading their “countrified” signs.

I don’t know why this was this first time I went here! I have been punishing myself. We stopped here for lunch after doing errands. I cant believe the price for massive portions that taste so good it’s hard to stop eating when your full. I got fried shrimp and I could only eat half the order. We brought home chicken and sides for everyone at the house. This is our new favorite spot.

Our waiter was stellar! The hush puppies were delish! The blacken shrimp was full of flavor. We will definitely be back❣️
A year later and it’s not as good, okay but that’s it. The rice undercooked and not hot, Mac & cheese not hot, cornbread didn’t taste right. The combo shrimp & fish average. Service okay but could have been better. Real bummer because last year(23) they were great.

If you want delicious southern comfort you don’t have to cook, you can find it here. We stick to our usuals which do not disappoint; fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, apple cobbler, green beans, coleslaw, and Turkey dinner. Everything else is okay in my opinion, i.e, mac n cheese should only be a 5 cheese baked master piece and a peach cobbler should only have fresh peaches- unfortunately it’s not that here. Staff is always friendly and restaurant is always clean, def recommend.
