This restaurant is a good ol southern hospitality place, and the decor fits the country atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and quiet, and the food is AMAZING! We enjoyed the fried green t’maters, the grilled fish dinner, fried mushrooms, fried pickles, collard greens, black eyed peas, and hushpuppies. We were so hungry, I forgot to take pictures. We were so stuffed, but in the best way! It was affordable and easy to get in and out of. We plan on visiting often when we make trips to doctors.

First time going here & the food was amazing & was fast. Definitely home cooked southern food! The atmosphere was nice & the menu was very full of options to choose from. They keep the place clean & organized, staff is as friendly as can be. Plenty of parking. Got us seated quickly. Drinks were good as well.

The menu fails to mention that the fried catfish is whole with bones. Okra was undercooked. However my son’s steak was great and the fired shrimp was excellent!

The food was delicious. Our server was friendly but not very attentive. Our glasses sat empty several times during our meal. It wasn’t busy but they did seem short staffed. My mom ordered the liver and onions and she said she will absolutely order it again. She recommends the corn nuggets also. They were not bad to me but not my thing. We ordered the fried green tomatoes. We both agreed that they seemed bland. The entrees were on point. The chicken livers, liver and onions and fried okra were delicious! I also highly recommend the hushpuppies! We love the other location and couldn’t help comparing the two. We will try this one again.

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years. But, this afternoon’s visiting was the absolute best that I’ve ever experienced. The inside was festively decorated with holiday music playing softly in the background.
The server and other staff members went above and beyond to insure we had a prompt and delicious meal.

Grandma’s fried Chicken and Po plate are the best. Great vegetable options. Serves Coca-Cola products. Fried green tomatoes and fried pickles are amazing. The country combo is a good option if you want a little bit of everything.

For some reason we always find ourself going a little before closing, the staff is always so accommodating, and the food is fantastic. We tip very well each time, and just in general love that we have the place to ourself and that the staff never make us feel like we are hindering them, we obviously never stay long but eat and get out of there with our toddler. But its always been fantastic
