I live nearby and love many of the items on their menu. It’s been a staple for me, when I just want a delicious treat. I think most of their items are so yummy. Particularly like their chicken cutlet sandwiches. One note, might be personal preference, but I don’t like the broccoli rabe sandwiches too much- I think it’s just too dominant and overwhelming, making it hard to taste other flavors. Would love for y’all to find ways to cook it that mellow that ingredient out a bit. But, of course plenty of other items to choose from that are all fantastic.

Great little sandwich shop tucked into the corner of Human Robot Brewery. I’ve been following them/him on social media and he is the most creative sandwich maker anywhere I’ve been. Must be the creative genius of smoking weed all day. All I know is the sandwich’s we got were some of the best I’ve ever had. Between that and the beer (separate review) we were quite happy. And before I forget, great fresh cut fries as well. I’m not usually a fan of shoestring fries but these were really good.

Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.
Still want to come back and try one of their sandwiches!

Truly some of the best sandwiches and fries we’ve ever had. We got a mix of different ones but the Commish and the Carmela dolled up with hots and it was out of this world. The bread, the quality of meat… just everything was spectacular. Came for the beer which is also fabulous. Blown away by Poe’s

We went to this location for Human Robots anniversary. There was an unexpected incident here tonight that was out of their hands and caused major delay. I wanted to leave this review particularly tonight in an attempt to counteract any negative feedback Poe’s might receive tonight due to this one moment, mainly because I’ve been going here since they started and NEVER once have I had any complaints . They handled tonight the best the could and we got our food and it was delicious as usual.

Located inside Human Robot (nice vibe, great service and excellent beer) Poe’s sandwiches are absolutely delicious and really creative, as are the fries (and they are not soggy). Everything is well executed with the ingredients perfectly balanced. It is hard to settle on what to order. Seoulgirl is fantastic and I had a bite of a Baby Wook which was delicious too. The service at both Poe’s and Human Robot is down to earth and friendly. Its an easy walk from Temple University and worth the trip! Already planning my next visit!

The food was AMAZING. I can not express this enough. This little sandwich shop inside of a bar is by far the best sandwich shop in town. Completely unexpected. Their homemade cheese wiz is super good, even for people that don’t normally like cheese wiz. Get their Bonnet sandwich! And their strawberry soda tastes like strawberry lollipops. Their online ordering system is great for people who like to avoid human interaction, or you can order at the counter. Fabulous food!

Unbelievable, located inside the Human Robot, this place will have you eating lunch and ordering dinner to go. Among my favorites are the Gabbygool, Birdman, Commish Cutlet and the Gary Cooper. The loaded Joey fries doubles as a whole meal!!! Don’t let the small window fool you, these guys are producing big flavor!

Pretty expensive for a mediocre 8″ sandwich ($17). Bread was crunchy but not toasted, felt a little stale and the eggplant was fairly tasteless. Peppers tasted great but overall would rather gamble on better food elsewhere
