Great little stop on the way to the airport. Not a lot of food selection but the fried chicken was amazing! Helpful staff. Right up the road is a bigger cafeteria but that place is always packed. This one is less crowded.

So much more than good food. Big portions. Fun laid back atmosphere. Price way low compared to local overpriced competition. Then another 20% off on Mondays for seniors and vets. Tuesdays 20% off for everyone for Customer appreciation. Free (w meal) Southern Gospel family and quartet Christian music every Wednesday and 2nd Tuesdays. Friendly staff. FUN FUN.

Food was delicious, servings we’re big, and the prices were reasonable. The decor was simple but nice extra holiday touches. It was clean and neat and servers were in their toes keeping tables cleared of do dishes.

Always a great cafeteria style restaurant to go have a delicious meal!!! Prices are competitive. The roast beef, fried chicken, Mac n cheese or fish are always good. So are the pies!! Rhubarb, sugar cream, pumpkin, apple, gooseberry and more!!! Pick any side and you won’t be disappointed. I will say don’t expect much of a wow from the salad. It’s basically iceburg lettuce. Then again if you go to Poe’s go for the comfort food!! They do have items just for diabetic options! The area is decorated straight out of the ’80 “mauve” wave but no matter, the room is enormous. It’s great for large families, parties etc. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They are ready to assist anyone who needs help carrying their tray! It’s a clean place, maybe a little dated, but great food, great service!!!

Extremely expensive! $30.84 for one adult and a 14yr old girl. No waitresses ever came to our table and there was only one other table in there at the time. Finally saw a lady wiping down a table and asked her to come over as my drink was empty and pie was cold she heated the pie took my drink but seemed upset I had bothered her. My parents used to take us there when we were kids and I wanted to share those same memories with my daughter. Turns out it was a costly mistake and a memory we won’t forget..i don’t reccomend this restaurant. Should have went to Gray Brothers cafeteria instead..

Wholesome cafeteria style food. Gooseberry pie is in season AND there’s persimmon pudding in the fall! Great atmosphere and family friendly. Definitely will be visiting again the next time I’m in town.

Pretty good place. The service I encountered was not ideal but as the trip progressed the service did get better. The food was good, I was apprehensive to some of it as it taste like they put sugar in a few things in not use to sugar in, such as the tarter sauce.

it is the cheaper and less fancy version of the more notable cafeteria down the road, but my relatives seem to like it more. The food was good and plentiful when I went with them after church on sunday while visiting them. Been there a couple times and would visit again if going w/ family.
